This is an Chevy K5 Blazer that was used by the military and there name for it was an m1009, It has a 6.2 liter detroit diesel mated to a th400 3 speed automatic trans with only 98,000 miles. It has 4 wheel drive with solid axle. It's unique because it has dual battery and alternators which makes a hybrid 12/24 volt system. The bad is that the driver side rocker is rusted,but has been replaced and there is 1 spot on the drivers side rear fender. I replaced the cap from a blazer with sliding rear windows, not pictured, i also installed center consol from blazer between seats, needed spot for coffie cups, replaced inner wheel well passanger side installed 2 different seats to match consol they are gray, still have old ones they go with blazer, i have replaced glow plugs with hummer glow plugs replaced belts and filters replaced brakes i drive this blazer 60 miles a day with NO problems , Added new pics taken today sept1 also wanted to add that i replaced mufflers less then 6 months ago, new batt.installed june 2010, the correct ones from then military
