Up for auction is my sister's 1976 Nova project car. This car was started as a father/daughter project and due to my dad's health issues the project was abandoned. The car has been stored in my sister's garage for the last year and a half. It has a clear Ohio title in hand. The body is pretty straight and mostly rust free as are the floor and trunk. It has a new Glasstek fiberglass 4" cowl hood also. The car was in the process of being prepped for paint with minor filler used to cover some small dents. The trim is all there (SS badges, headlight trim, new mirrors) with the exception of front grill, just not shown in pictures. She has an SS grill and headlight buckets she was going to list in a separate auction, but may be negotiated after the finish of the auction to the highest bidder. The glass is all intact and in good condition. The interior has a single race bucket seat, full dash, 6 point cage with Autometer Pro Comp water temp, oil pressure and fuel pressure gauges and a Hurst Quarter stick shifter. The wiring you see in the pics was temporary to start the engine and never made it to that point. The stock wiring harness is still there as is the wiring for lights, windshield wipers, etc. The engine (406 c.i. SBC) was freshly rebuilt with all new parts (see specs below) and has never been fired. The transmission (TH350) was freshly rebuilt with a new B&M 3000 holeshot converter and new trans cooler. The rearend is a braced 12 bolt with ladder bar setup with adjustable coil overs and the subframe has been tied. It has Weld front wheels with like new Kelly tires on the front and Mickey Thompson 28x12.50x15 ET Streets on steel rally wheels on the back. The fuel system consists of a sumped stock gas tank with Mallory 140 fuel filter and Mallory 140 electric fuel pump run with braided line to a new Holley pressure regulator, rebuilt Holley 850 double pumper carb and Weiand Team G intake. The cooling system consists of a new Afco radiator and new aluminum water pump and new electric fan. It has billet pulleys and a new chrome high output alternator. It has like new Hedman headers and turbo mufflers. She has receipts for all the parts and the build sheet from the engine builder and trans rebuilder with specs and parts. I've probably missed a lot of stuff, but I think I've covered all the big things. Overall, the car is a very good start with tons of new parts that just never got finished.
