Vehicle Detail
1977 P O R S C H E 924 Martini and Rossi (1 of 3000)This car is an un-restored absolutely original condition 924 with the desirable air conditioning, history and one of less than 750 delivered to USA. Porsche’s first limited edition 924, the Martini Rossi championship series, factory order number M426, rolled out in the spring of 1977. It was distinguished by front and rear sway bars, leather covered steering wheel, red-white-blue Martini Rossi striped on the outside and on the headrests, white alloy rims, scarlet red carpets with matching fabric inlays on the black vinyl seats. The cars had a very limited production run of four months, built from December 1976 til March 1977 celebrating the victories of 69, 70, 71, and 76 of the Martini Rossi 935 and 936 racing cars. Distinguishing themselves from all other 924's the E19 option featured: -432 Scarlet Pile Carpet with Matching Fabric Inlays on Black Vinyl Seats along with Martini Rossi stripes on the Headrest -565 Leather Covered Steering Wheel -Red/White/Blue Lateral Martini Rossi Racing Stripes along the Exterior Sides -White Painted Alloy Rims -404 Front and Rear Sway Bars -426 Special Model World Champ Console Plaque celebrating the victories of 69, 70, 71, and 76 Martini Rossi racing cars -568 Tinted Windows and Heated Rear Glass This 1977 Porsche 924 has 92,537 original miles and one of the best preserved interiors you will ever find. Car can be viewed in Deland, Florida. AUCTION ENDS SUNDAY NIGHT. The 356's used to be called upside down bathtubs. Look at them now. The 914's were mocked as well and look at their recent appreciation. It wont be very long before the oft neglected 924's find there numbers in small supply and thus clean survivors increasing in value commensurately. Well preserved survivors like this one will surely be a great addition to complete your collection. Though most of the modifications that make the Martini Rossi distinct are cosmetic (special interiors, rare white alloy rims) it does not take away from the fact of its very limited production line. All the documentation for the car is there. Numbers matching, correct. Beautiful and rare is the 1977 Porsche 924 Martini and Rossi Championship edition (unknown how many surviving Martini Rossi cars are out there). Ever dwindling numbers and condition continue. Preservation Class Contender, all original paint inside and out. NOT A RESTORATION! Car comes with paperwork and other related media relating to but not limited to delivery, maintenance, and other professional services. Runs and shifts as it should. Original interior paint throughout; trunks, door panels, under dash, under seats, under carriage. Original Suspension, Transmission, Engine, Hoses, Cables, Lights, Bumpers, Wiper Blades, Windows, Seats, Belts, Gauges and much more. Innocuous nicks and scratches authenticate age & originality. Small incision on drivers seat, left side...only imperfection on interior as far as the seats and benches, trim are concerned. Presale Inspection Encouraged. We want you to come appreciate this car with us. This car has to be seen. Matching numbers. Clear title. Everything works, all dash lights and systems work tight, seat belt light illuminates until seat belts are fastened. Great flip-up lights make you smile. Correct original pieces show necessary wear. Original stickers, badges & stamps still intact and in good condition. A fine example of a Period Correct 1977 Porsche 924 Martini Rossi. This car has lots of character, a most desirabel interior and personality. From 20' to 10' looks fantastic!
