Overall a very Nice 86' Porsche 944 with 62000 original miles. (european delivery) I purchased this car after it sat for 17 years ... not running, dead battery ect.... with intentions of using the interior and some other parts in another car of mine then parting the rest out. After further review, the car is just to nice overall to part out and I have decided to go another direction. Seventeen years ago the car went into a steep ditch and rolled on its top. Insurance company cut owner a check to fix but he decided to keep the money and sell the car as is. ***VEHICLE HAS CLEAN TITLE*** Since I purchased it and decided not to part out I had to at least see if the engine would run before selling ... Here a list of what I have done so far.... - drained / flushed fuel tank and lines...oil change- Installed New Fuel Pump and Filter- Installed New Fuel Pressure Dampner and Regulator- Inspected Timing Belt, rollers and balance shaft Belt... all looked good so I could proceed to trying to start the engine. Oiled cylinders and turned engine over by hand before trying to start with the key. - Installed new Battery ... All Power options work like they should even the clock lights up!- Replaced Radiator, Condensor with refurbished units- Purchased NEW Front Spoiler Recently did get the engine to start up however will need the injectors cleaned and rebuilt. Charging system worked like it should and had excellent oil pressure. Worst of the damage is on the driver side quarter panel (repairable), couple minor dents on the roof in front of sunroof panel, very minor dent on drivers door and front fender. Radiator support bracket on passenger side needs to be welded back in place. Passenger side and rear of car look like New! Interior looks like NEW!!! (nicest I have ever seen) All glass is perfect and all doors open and close like they should. Car will need to be trailered or towed...willing to help/assist with transporting. On Sep-29-11 at 06:20:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Couple of other notes about the car... - Everything is there or included with the sale of the car...NO Missing Pieces ... even the plastic under trays - Original front spoiler shown on the car in one of the photos (outside garage) has a couple of cracks by the mounting holes and some scratches but could be reused if one did't want to paint the new one included. - Koni Shocks in the rear - All lights work like they should ... every power option works ... original radio works like new & doesn't crackle when you adjust the volume ... Interior is definition of PERFECTION!!! - NO RUST ... Rims are like new (no scratches) Nice factory finish ... I have owned (2) 86' 944 turbos besides this one and (3) 928's so I am well versed with these car's. One of my 951's I sold on ebay couple months ago (look on my feedback)
