Here is an interesting car. A 2003 Audi A6 3.0 Quattro all wheel drive loaded car. It was seized by US Marshalls in drug investigation. Impounded, stripped and searched for hidden drugs. They do not put the car back together when done. This vehicle starts, runs and drives fine. There is no collision damage ever, though some minor bumper scrapes etc. are found. When they find what they were looking for, they claim the vehicle, and sell at auction. They automatically declare all vehicles AS-IS, Salvage, True miles unknown. We are now reselling the vehicle with a South Carolina Salvage title, True miles unknown, as-is, where is. Carfax this morning shows.........No Accident ever, last miles were 137,389 on 05/14/2010. I have started and run this car for an hour. No engine noise, no overheat, no problem. Put in gear and drive to 30 mph. Shifts all gears, steers correctly, brakes work fine, seems to drive good. You should not expect to drive this car anywhere until it is re-assembled, as the search involved removing many safety parts....seats, steering column is not secure, no lights are installed, etc. A number of the parts are broken while searching. Snap clips, mounting tabs, etc. A quick inventory of the parts shows most, if not all the parts are there. Bumper covers, headlamps, marker lamps, etc. No guarantee that all parts are included though. look at the pictures, or e-mail me questions.
