Up for auction STRAIGHT FROM JINGLETOWN RECORDING STUDIOS HOME OF GRAMMY AWARD WINNING BAND GREEN DAY is a CUSTOM 1953 CHEVROLET 3100 SERIES 5-WINDOW DELUXE SHORT BED with NO RESERVE!!! This truck was built from the ground up by Frank Martinez of Cool Customs in Yuba City, CA. The entire frame has been completely stripped, powder-coated black and redone including a new front clip from a Chevy S-10 pickup. Every single nut and bolt has been replaced and is ALL NEW. The rear section of the frame has been C-NOTCHED. The truck has been fully-bagged all around with top of the line AIR RIDE technology that doesn't leak and works flawlessly. The tank and compressor are all new and mounted in the bed of the truck. The upper and lower A-Arms are THORBECKE giving this truck an amazing and comfortable ride. The airbags are ran off of 3 electric switches from the center console of the truck with pressure gauges located on the front of the center console for on the fly adjustment. The rear end is a freshly rebuilt 10-Bolt. Full ladder-bar set up done right. The truck has an all new brake system from front to back. All new brake-lines that are ran very cleanly through the frame. The Master Cylinder and Power Brake Booster are all new with front an rear proportioning valve. This truck has been done right. The front brakes are POWER DISC and the rear are drum. The entire braking system works perfect and again, has been done right. There is no pulling from side to side and stopping power is fantastic. The entire fuel system is all new with the tank relocated to underneath the bed of the truck and the filler hole located there as well. The tank is brand new along with the tank straps. The entire system has all new hoses throughout. The engine is a smallblock Chevy 400 that is completely rebuilt with a mild cam attached to a TH350 Automatic Transmission. It has an ALUMINIUM EDELBROCK MANIFOLD, DEMON 4-BARREL CARBURATOR, EDELBROCK VALVE COVERS, POLISHED ALUMINUM WATER PUMP, LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM PULLY SYSTEM, MSD BLASTER SS IGNITION SYSTEM, NICKEL-PLATED SHORTY HEADERS leading back to AN ALL NEW STAINLESS EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH STAINLESS STEEL SUPER TURBO MUFFLERS THAT SOUND AMAZING! HI-FLOW POWER STEERING PUMP. ALL NEW POWER STEERING HOSES ALONG WITH AN ALUMINUM KRC RESIVOIR. NEW BE COOL ALUMINUM RADIATOR SYSTEM WITH DUAL ELECTRONIC FANS. ALL NEW HEATER AND A/C PLUMBING with a VINTAGE AIR COMPAC GEN II SYSTEM. "No A/C" yet but this truck has been completely plumbed for it, all that is needed is an A/C pump and condensor which can both be purchased through VINTAGE AIR. The firewall has been recessed in the middle and completely smoothed. It looks AWESOME! This truck sits on 15" SUPREME CHROME WHEELS with fat wide-whitewall radial tires. I do believe that one of the tires has a slight bit of ballooning going on but it does not affect the ride at all and all the tires are in great condition. This truck is ALL STEEL and SUPER SOLID as well as 99% RUST FREE! The only filler used on this truck is a MINIMAL AMOUNT where the handles and gas tank filler tube, etc. have been shaved. The truck is in white primer and looks nice for a driver. Inside the bed is a FULLY-CUSTOM raised insert using flat metal welded together with pine ply board screwed into the top that follows the contour of the C-NOTCHED FRAME. It was done VERY TASTEFULLY and the bed is STILL FUNCTIONAL! The truck has NEW CHROME BUMPERS but they do have some minor flaws from being driven. The grill is a NEW CHROME GRILL with BLINKERS. The taillights are LED. They work great and are VERY BRIGHT. The side-view mirrors are NEW and CHROME. The ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FROM FRONT TO BACK IS ALL NEW FROM HAYWIRE INCLUDING THE WIRING HARNESS and FUSE PANEL. The interior of the truck features POWER BUCKET SEATS from a late model Chevy truck with FOLD DOWN ARMRESTS for the passenger and driver and a complete ARC AUDIO COMPONENT SYTEM. The seats have currently have no power ran to them but it would be a simple hookup. Behind the drivers seat is a CUSTOM DESIGNED STORAGE COMPARTMENT. The ARC AUDIO SYSTEM includes 5 1/4 speakers in both kickpanels as well as TWEETERS and a 10" SUBWOOFER in a CUSTOM DESIGNED BOX. This is all powered by an ARC AUDIO AMPLIFIER run off of a KENWOOD CD PLAYER. There are two CUSTOM DESIGNED CONSOLES in the truck. One is between the seats and functions as an additional armrest as well as additional storage. The other houses the KENWOOD deck and is mounted to the top of the cab so no cutting of the dash was required for installation. The cab has ACCUMAT HYPERFLEX SOUND DEADENING throughout that works AMAZING! Also located in the CENTER CONSOLE are the ONE-TOUCH POWER WINDOW SWITCHES and INTERNAL POPPER CONTROLS for both doors. Also located in the CENTER CONSOLE are the VINTAGE AIR CONTROLS. The dash also has a CUSTOM SLIDE-OUT CUPHOLDER located under the speaker in the dash. The driver and passenger windows have been converted to ONE-PIECE WINDOWS with new glass for a CLEANER LOOK. The shifter has been relocated to the CENTER CONSOLE as well. The steering column is a BRAND NEW BILLET ALUMINUM 32" TILT COLUMN with a CLASSIC-STYLE GRANT SPOKE WHEEL. The truck has BRAND NEW SHARK GAUGES. The speedometer is not hooked up. This truck is equipped with push-button start. The glovebox door is BRAND NEW from LMC truck. Included with the sale are misc. rubber and window felts. NEW CUSTOM PLASTIC DOOR PANELS that cover the full length of the door are installed on both sides. The window trim on the inside is NEW and CHROME. This truck comes with TWO KEYFOBS that control the windows and unlock and pop the doors and can be set up to run other options on the truck. This truck was built from the ground up to be driven anywhere and can be driven anywhere. The only things left to do are prep, body, paint and finish the interior and you"ll have yourself an AMAZING, ONE-OFF SHOW TRUCK! NO EXPENSE HAS BEEN SPARED BUILDING THIS TRUCK.
