For auction on ebay is my 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner FJ6 car. This is a factory Sassy Grass Green big block Roadrunner and is a rare color for 71. Not many factory FJ6 cars out there. This Roadrunner was bought mostly how you see it now. I bought it needing an engine/transmission still. I put my low mileage 1971 440 engine/727 transmission in the car. The car /motor is all date correct 1971. Even has the original 71 440 carburator. The motor ran great in my Challenger and has about 20k miles on it. I then broke my hand and the car remains nearly finished. It still needs a day or two worth of work to get it on the road and enjoy. I will list the stuff it will need below. The car is extremely complete. It has had new interior installed with new seats, carpet, package tray, dash cap and trunk mat. I have a new headliner in the box that goes with the car. Door panels are original and in pretty good shape for 40 years old. Paint is 6 months old and was painted when I got it along with all the new decals throughout. Lots of new parts on this car. Has new taillights, roof stripes,hood stripes, pinstriping, roadrunner decals, and emblems. Has color matched front and rear bumpers. Rear has the bumper/valance blackout stripe. Has front chin spoilers and 71 gull wing out back with correct brackets/mounting. Brakes have new rear drums. 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears. The car doesnt have any rust and still has the original trunk floor. The underneath has factory thick undercoating and preserved the pans nicely. Under the hood I replaced all the electrical components, engine wiring harness, front light harness, and back up light harness. New ignition/turn signal switch. Has new battery, battery tray, radiator, water pump, thermostat, trans mount, etc. Grille is in excellent shape. Glass is all good and doors and glass open and shut well. Original rallye wheels with roller tires. Fender tag is still present.As you can see the car is very striking. It will need hoses put on along with a belt, the starter installed, driveshaft installed, shift linkage hooked back up, exhaust pipe (have new mufflers), brake cylinders(have new), shocks. I have nearly everything to put the car together and get it on the road except the shocks. May need other minor stuff that I'm forgetting. Its not much and shouldnt take more than a day or two. This is a one time auction. If the sale doesn't go through, I will put together in a couple of weeks when I am done with rehab on my hand. This is your chance to save a lot of money and do alittle work yourself. I have alot of money invested in the car. Car does not run currently, until the final stuff has been installed. Please read all details to avoid any confusion. Have ALL approvals and inspections before bidding on my auction. I will be available to show the car to anyone and for inspections. You have 5 days to get it inspected or preview the car. No exceptions! Hate to be a stickler but some people just dont read the entire auction. Buyer to pay non refundable deposit of $500.00 within 48 hours of auctions end. Balance due within 5 days of end of auction. No exceptions! Buyer responsible for all shipping charges. I will however help load the car on transport truck if needed. Payment to be made using bank wire transfer, bank cashiers check or cash in person. Car is sold with clean a clean title in my name. Bidders are welcome/encouraged to view the car prior to auctions end. Out of state/country bidders are welcome/encouraged to hire a 3rd party inspection. However, once auction is over and you are the winning bidder the car will be yours. Again, make arrangements prior to auctions end to view/inspect the car. Car is sold as is, where is. Sale of vehicle is Final! This is a private party sale and the car is sold with no warranties expressed or written. This is a project car still needing finished and sold as such. Car is not currently running and is the responsibility of the new owner unless otherwise agreed upon. Please make sure you have satisfied your expectations of the car.
