1995 BMW R-Series

You are looking at a used 1995 BMW R1100GS with 92,462 miles and I am the third owner. I am not listing the bike as a "GSA" even though the bike has an ABS system which is not operating (brakes work great but ABS system is disabled). The bike also has heated grips but, they do not work either. On both the ABS and heated grips, I have not taken the bike to a dealer to have them checked out and do not know if it is a simple fix or not. The GS does not have the R.I.D. (rider information display), nor has it ever had it. With 92k on the bike, it does have scratches / scuffs here and there but, the metal tank has no dents, no cracks in any of the body work, the bags and hand guards have scuffs on them. With the exception of the ABS and heated grips noted above, all electrics work fine and the bike is kept on a Battery Tender (not included) via the BMW accessory plug at all times. The rims are true and straight and the bike has not been wrecked (maybe parking lot lay-downs) to my knowledge. One of the "tests" for the rear drive is to test for movement in the 3:00 and 9:00 position and 6:00 and 12:00 position of the rear wheel. The rear wheel / drive feels tight when this test is performed on the rear drive. The bike comes with the following: REMUS alloy exhaust (sounds nice - not loud). Bob's Wrist Rest (throttle lock). OEM seat has just been recovered (rider and pillion) with OEM material. OEM black plastic engine guards (scuffed). At least two keys are included. Full BMW tool kit and no missing tools to my knowledge. I do not have the owner's manuals. Clear Indiana title. Follows is the only service history I know on the bike: 91,918 miles, replaced clutch cable, new gel battery, oil and filter change (Castrol 20w50) with BMW filter (05/07/11). 89,695 miles, adjusted valves, oil and filter change (Castrol 20w50) and BMW filter (04/23/10). 86,109 miles, oil and filter change (Castrol 20w50), BMW filter and Autolite platinum plugs (#APP 3923), date unknown. 87,718 miles, new Michelin Anakee radials front and rear, tires on the bike now (04/22/10). 83,703 miles, gear oil change, front / final drive, transmission, engine oil and filter (Castrol 20w50), BMW filter, Autolite platinum plugs (#APP 3923). 81,823 miles, adjusted valves, oil and filter change (Castrol 20w50) and BMW filter, date unknown. 79,289 miles, changed fuel filter, added a K&N air filter, rear brake pads and alternator belt (not installed - but the new one is included with this sale), 08/31/08. 77,xxx miles, second owner purchased bike from original owner on 08/02/08. The bike runs, shifts, rides, brakes, handles, goes down the road very nice. I am listing the bike with a starting bid of only $3,000.00 with NO RESERVE! For no charge, I am willing to trailer the GS to a local truck stop to provide convenience for a shipping agent (I think it would be consider a "commercial" pick up location and a little cheaper for the winning bidder). I know these two questions will pop up: 1) (Q) What else do I know about the service history? (A) All that is listed above is all that I know. 2) (Q) Why am I selling the bike?
