1985 Goldwing Limited, Low Miles, Low Reserve GL1200 LTD This particular Goldwing LTD is a 2 owner, low miles bike that looks almost new. It is one of the nicest you will find. Garage Kept. This bike is solid as a rock. This bike runs beautifully, and it is pretty warm behind the bodywork, perfect for fall and winter riding. It has a LOT of technology for the year. This one includes the original tool kit and shop manual. I also have the original title from 1985. Recent oil change too! I am located about 17 Miles south of Dulles Airport, 25 miles west of Wash. DC I can deliver this bike just about anywhere on the east coast if you pay my expenses. Or, fly in to Dulles, I’ll pick you up. I have done that a time or two. Minor Stuff: There is a small piece of the rear trunk lid cracked. The left vent in the dash is missing the center flaps and the backrest is a bit lighter brown than the regular seats. All of this can be seen in the pictures. Also, could use a rear tire and the windshield is a bit cloudy for my liking. If you use the “Buy it Now” option (or cover the cost), I will replace the Tire prior to your pickup. You would then have a bike you could ride cross country. I have recently taken it on a trip of over 500 miles. It is a sweet ride, and a heck of a bargain. The 1985, the Gold Wing Limited Standard on the LTD is: electronic fuel injection, auto leveling rear suspension, driver-passenger intercom system, cruise control, an improved seat, a more elaborate paint scheme and an exclusive color (two tone gold), additional marker lights and cornering lights, an upgraded LCD instrument panel, and a sophisticated trip computer. It also had an increased alternator capacity, allowing even more electronics to be added to the bike. It has a Panasonic AM/FM/Cassette with Dolby Noise Reduction and 4 speakers. New, stiffer frame with major improvements, bigger and more responsive 1182cc version of the flat-four engine with bags more torque and hydraulic valve adjusters, better suspension and handling were the main attractions on the new Goldwing. The 1,182 cc (72.1 cu in) engine was all-new. The frame was larger and stiffened for a smoother ride. It has an onboard compressor for adjusting the ride AND inflating flat tires.
