I have for sale 2 VW Cabriolet Convertibles. I was hoping to keep and fix them both up but am moving and the new house doesn't have room for them. 1990 Yellow VW Cabriolet - This is a 2.0 Litre 5 Speed manual transmission. Engine runs great and the car has many new parts, however the transmission is shot, reverse and 2nd gear do not work at all. I have owned this car for 2 years and it is a great runner, here's some of what I have done this year: New Springs and Calipers New Rear Brakes (Drums, Shoes, Cylinders) New Rear Tires (less than 1000 miles on them) New top New Front Rotors and Pads This car has had regular oil changes and maintenance and is a great car, just needs transmission. 1989 Red VW Cabriolet This is a 4 speed automatic transmission. I don't know a lot about it, I bought it this summer to use as a parts car to finish fixing the interior and odds and ends on the 90 however that was before the tranny went in the yellow one and that is the one thing that as far as I know isn't interchangeable. This car starts right up and runs, but has no brakes, I had it looked at and was told it needs a new brake booster. It has new brake lines and a new master cylinder and the tires are in excellent condition. The interior on this car is immaculate and even has the original cassette tape holder in it! I also have a full extra interior - Seats, door panels, etc that is in great condition that will go with these cars. A full set of exterior trim for the cars and all the emblems as well. The bodies on both cars are in great shape considering the years and they will make awesome cars for someone who has the time to put the TLC into them.
