Up for bid with no reserve is our 2006 Mercedes C230 Sport sedan. We have owned this car for about a year and a half and absolutely love it, but we are moving onto a sailboat for the next year, and don't see much sense it letting it sit and get a year older. Vehicle has been well cared for, including regular maintenance and oil changes. Contrary to popular myth, Mercedes rarely go into the shop and we have had no maintenance other than preventative. The car runs great and handles like a dream. The SPORT model is, I believe, a little lower to the ground and has better suspension than the standard sedan. With the 6 speed manual transmission, this is just a blast to drive. Tires were new at 55,000 miles, so there's approx. 17,000 miles on these tires, with about 75% tread life remaining. Body is in excellent shape, and paint is heavy, thick Mercedes quality. As on any 5 year old vehicle, there are a few small paint chips from road debris, and there is one small ding on the rear fender which I tried to show in the pics. If you looked hard and close (won't show in pics), there are a couple fo very small door dings from those wonderful parking friends of ours. (All of the paint is super shiny and black - dull areas in the pictures are from glare, NOT the car itself) Brakes were replaced last year, including new pads all around and brand new rotors as well on the front. Engine has no issues whatsoever, transmission is smooth, brakes great, AC and all electrical items working as they should. Windows professionally tinted within last 12 months. Black leather seats, no rips, tears or other damage to the seats. Has a large trunk and never used spare tire. The only issues we are aware of are as follows: The cover to the console/armrest has come off and needs to be reattached (in pic). It looks fine, and the hatch still opens, but it's not secured The silver paint or coating on the shift knob has peeled off a bit (also shown) Lastly, the left rear speaker crackles when the volume is high. I don't know if it's cracked or not, and we generally don't turn up the music that loud anyway.
