Up for sale is my 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 LTD. I have made this car into a show-quality, award winning vehicle and the buyer will be pleased at the looks gathered by passers-by. The Galaxie 500 LTD was the top-line Galaxie in 1965. This car comes with the 390 4-barrel, 300hp, 427lb-ft V8 and it drives wonderfully. The car has a new 100% to the metal paint job with 2k on it and no rain. Finished in a new-quality match to Wimbledon White, the car is gorgeous to view. Interior is finished in black velour - a 1965 option from what I have been told - and is has only a couple small areas not perfect (very unnoticable with the black finish). The interior is also stock and in great condition. There is a light missing from the rear pillar and the dash needs some gauge work, but all is 100% there and looks great. The undercarriage is very clean for a 40 year old car. Stock exhaust set-up with turbo mufflers gives the car a grumble, but isnt overwhelming. Odometer reads 21k miles, but I am unable to prove its age. Suffice to say - engine bay is clean enough that either it is true, or LOOKS true. Car has new fuel pump, starter, plugs, wires, coil, and ignition module. Engine bay only needs the power steering pump repaired. It works but leaks. This LTD is also a fastback 2-door with a black vinyl roof. There is not ONE crack in the entire thing and the black shows very well. Tires are whitewalls and have 5k on them and attached to new rear shocks. This car is the nicest 65 Galaxie I've seen at the car shows. Looks wonderful in the light and has very few marks on it. The lines are STRIAGHT and the chrome is very good. There is NO rust on the body and the floorboards are 100%. The car also has a floor mounted CD player with 2 speakers to keep it original. I have driven this car 120 miles at one time and have had no issues. I am selling this car because of family situation not because of problems. I am starting a college fund and getting rid of my toys. WINNER ::: After sale a $750 (non-refundable) deposit is required within 48 hours. I can hold the car in my garage for 2 weeks if necessary until pick-up. I will not be doing any transport help - it is buyer responsibility. The car will drive anywhere, but it is a 46 year old car so be realistic. All fluids will be checked and topped off - including gas and octane boost (which is best for the car) - before pick-up.
