Vehicle Detail

78 New Yorker, originally from the Hartford CT area, purchased it on ebay two years ago.   Drive it regularly.   Took it to CT this Spring.   Not afraid to drive this car at all.  Fly in and drive it away.   New Tires two months ago, new Midas Mufflers 4 months ago.    Battery is weak and should be replaced.  Everything works with the exception of the cruise control and the left rear power window.   Gets plenty of attention.  This is an original car, not restored.   There are nicks and scratched here and there and the bumpers chrome is fading a bit.   the original vinyl roof is there but threre are a few bubbles underneath it.  The leather is beautiful.   I'll be posting more pictures and some Youtube video.  NO RESERVE. Please note, I swapped out many New Yorker Tags or emblems or scripts for Imperial Lebaron.   The car is a New Yorker.  Even the Grill and front Lenses are Imperial Grills.   All of this can  be changed back to New Yorker stuff.  ALl of it goes with the car. Please note, there is damage to the right rear door which you can see in the pictures....you have to look to see it.  there is rust behind each rear wheel in the quarter panels. videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BWWdqliTpU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbbA6BTShVI On Sep-17-11 at 04:06:51 PDT, seller added the following information: VIN CS43T8C109620   The vehicle will come with a bill of Sale and a Title Letter from the State of MaineOn Sep-17-11 at 05:00:32 PDT, seller added the following information: I've added more pictures.  This I believe is the original paint job with the exception of possibly the front left fender which looks like it might have been replaced one time.  The car has rust in the rear quarter panels but they are basically straight flat long area's of sheet metal and should be a very simple fix.  (Again, the car is a New Yorker off the assembly line in 1978, Imperials weren't produced then but I put the Imperial Badges on the car)   This isn't some sort of factory fluke...although, I've seen that when I worked at Chrysler at this time, a Plymouth Aspen or a Dodge Volare...lol  funny production workers lol I'll load a few more pictures, the carpets are fine but slightly faded...no rips or stains.  I've not replaced them because they are sooooo thick and plush, you just can't find auto carpet like this anymore.  I'd reather keep that original.   Why I am selling, I found a 73 AMC Ambassador with 52,000 miles which I got for basically nothing.  I can't have too many cars, I simply don't have the room and this car from what I've been told has always been garaged...I don't want to leave it out in the snow and  rain to deteriorate.   So you'll get a good deal here.  I paid 1300 two years ago, spent money on the exhaust and tires and carb adjustments and battery cables and minor electrical work.   Power seats work.   Has a Stereo with a cassette player that works fine.   Tilt wheel, remote mirrors...defogger...all the stuff you would expect on a car like this.   The air needs to be recharged,it blows non cold air.
