1966 Mustang, California Car - (R) code Assembly in San Jose, CA (07) Mustang 2-Door Hardtop Bucket Seat, (T) code 6cyl 200 CID engine Horsepower 120, 1 barrel Carburetor, Compression: 9.2:1, gets great gas mileage. (Too many project cars (8) 2 or 3 must go!)* The two best things about this car is that there is NO Threw Rust and minimal surface rust the other thing is that the drive trane, Engine and Transmission are very good and sound. It drives quietly and does not rattle. 7 DAY NO RESERVE AUCTION ENDS APROX. (SEPT 21ST PST AT 2030 HOURS) PLEASE CONFIRM. Odometer reads: 19,525 most likely 119525 - could not be accurate. Engine was rebuilt 5 years ago, driven lightly the parked 3 years ago. It was recently started and driven. Runs and drives good. Aprox miles driven in the last 5 years after engine rebuild is about 15,000 to 25,000. Odometer goes up to 140 MPH. Car has great pick up. Is currently green on black but paint was believed to be originally red with black interior. Needs body, paint and interior work. the drivers bucket seat is leaning far back and may need repair as well. Dash pad has a few cracks in it. Has one rear black California Plate (front plate is missing) engine compartment have holes cut in splash guards to access front end bolts. Front end bushings were replaced. New power steering pump, New Carburetor, New battery, New Battery Tray, set of four Pony hub caps, New Gas Pump, Needs: new or partial interior replacement and power steering leak repair, recient headlight short will try and fix before sale, they were working now they are off. parrking lights and blinkers work. AM/FM Cassett Radio non operational, no speakers. There is little to no rust, some surface rust in trunk area which I wire brushed and treated with rust converter, gas tank is good, Floor Boards look good as well, some light surface rust is here and there just needs wire brushing and treatment when a new carpet is installed. It is currently serviceable and can be not touched as well. The car doesn't have to be restored it is ok as is. It comes with a spare trunk lid because there is a dent and bondo in the existing lid. NOTE the rear pictures have the trunk lock out. It has been since replaced. There is an ignition key and trunk key but no door keys. The driver's door will not open from outside but inside. Parking brake works, transmission shifts well and the engine is smooth and strong, brakes are good but there is a slight left pull when brakes are depressed hard. So the left front brake may need work. - Remote Drivers side mirror - Power Steering- 140 MPH Odometer- Heater works- Odometer reads 19,525 (assuming the chassis has 119512 miles on it.)- Good older tires may have some light cracking (maybe 5 years old or less) fat tread.- 4 hub caps- front clip and bumper straight needs re-chrome- all other chrome is straight and good- dash board has a couple cracks but is not falling apart- Windshield wipers work, no cracks in windshield Low NADA Guides Book Value $5,940. middle NADA Guides Value $11,360. classic and popular car, collectible and engine upgrade prospect.
