Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1990 Lincoln Mark VII LSC. It has 74,000 gently driven miles on it. The car runs and drives nice with a lot of power having the same 5.0 liter V8 that the mustangs had. These cars were once known as the rich boy's Mustang The car is all stock and has never been messed with. For a 21 year old car, it is still a real head turner, I take it to many car cruises. The body is in excellent condition, having just a tiny ding on the drivers side door which is not even noticeable. (only mentioning it to be accurate) It is rust free and again, it really is a head turner. Oil and filter was just changed on 9-3 It does however need some work. I will list all known problems with the car. The Bad: Transmission doesn't want to go into overdrive. Could be something as simple as a vacuum leak or linkage. Haven't had it checked out. Car still drives great. Radiator neck has a small piece broken off it. Due to this, the cap does not stay on very tight. I would imagine you could buy a new neck and solder it on and fix it. The drivers side power door lock is not working, the lock mechanism fell off of the mount. (retaining clip came off) For some reason, the dash lights don't come on with the switch, but they do for the security lights when you open the door. The interior is in good shape except for the drivers side has wear from getting in and out. Also the arm console is showing some wear. The radio is missing, it stopped working and I had planned on replacing it. AC blows, but needs to be recharged. The gas gauge does not read accurately. Most likely just needs a new sending unit in the tank. The passenger side window motor needs to be replaced. It slips when going up, and down. Parking brake does not release when shifting into drive. (must be released manually) Although the car looks great, the paint does have a couple of spots were it is wearing thin. I have listed everything I know to be wrong with the car. I love the older cars and have had this one for 6 years, time to move onto something else. If you love these cars, and have a little time and money to put into one, this would be a great car to have. For the price, I don't think you will find one as straight bodied and clean as this. The engine alone with these miles is probably worth half of the opening bid. Pictures speak for themselves, but the car looks even better in person. If you are local, come and see for yourself. Feel free to ask any questions. If you are not serious about buying this car, then don't waste my time. Bidders with less than 5 feedbacks must contact me before bidding. If shipping is required, that is the buyers responsibility but I can assist with the arrangement. Thanks for looking.
