1970 Ford Torino Cobra 429 Cobra Jet C6 Automatic. Up for auction is a 1970 Torino Cobra with a 429 Cobra Jet and a C6 automatic transmission. The car spent most of it's life in the southwest (Texas) before coming to Michigan. The car has it's number matching 429 Cobra Jet engine (block# DOVE-A), C6 transmission (#C80F-7A046-A) and 9" 31 spline Nodular case 3.00:1 traction lock rear axle. The car has a black bench seat interior that is in very nice condition and still has the factory AM radio.. This car has been sitting for many years and needs some repair. The rear frame rails, trunk drop offs, front frame rails and torque boxes are very rusty. This is an excellent project car that is 99% complete and retains all it's original sheetmetal, drivetrain, interior, period correct wheels and tires including spare tire with jack. The glass is the original and is in excellent shape. I also have all the under hood A/C components (condenser, compressor, lines, brackets and pulleys) that came on the car. The door tag is still there and I have a build sheet and Marti report for the car. I have a clear Michigan title for the car. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or for the additional pictures.
