Offered here is an '89 Civic Hatchback DX with 5 speed transmission. The car has NO major rust issues. The rocker panel, rear quarters, door bottoms and chassis are all solid! I bought the car from Georgia so it never was driven in the salt. The only problem with it when I got it was the engine was smoking too much to pass inspection. So I bought a good used engine (which I had seen run and also drove the car it was in, so I KNOW it's a good engine), and installed it into the car with a new timing belt and replaced the clutch while I was at it. But I never got to finish the job because I got a major back disc herniation last fall when I was working on the car and it sat over last winter without being put back together. All it needs is for the radiator and exhaust to be hoooked back up, and a few other minor connections such as the spark plug wires and engine harness to be plugged in. The motor is already back in the car!! I have most, if not all the parts still sitting in or near the car and I will include with the car many extra spares that came from the engine donor CRX. I don't have the time or energy to finish this now, and it will be a great 1 or 2 day project for a young person who needs a great reliable commuter car for school, or who wants to do a swap. Remember folks... except for a couple of very minor parking lot dings, this is a rare, Rust free, and accident free 89 classic Civic!! You can do anything with these cars! NO RESERVE!! I'm open to offers for someone who wants me to end the auction early. I am motivated to get it out of my driveway. Whoever shows up first with a reasonable amount of cash and a trailer can get a great deal on it!! I also have many spare body parts from the CRX motor donor car if you need any... 88 CRX, doors, hood, bumpers, rear hatch, etc..
