Vehicle Detail
Up for aution is my "Real Deal" '31 Ford 5-window hot rod. This is an ORIGINAL 1931 Ford body...not a reproduction or god forbid a fiberglass shell. She was chopped 6" and the body was channelled 4" for a mean stance. She just sits right. Original '32 frame painted to match the body. She was completed back in the late 1960's (1968 i was told), and then had a redo in the early 1990's for some upgrades. Everyone is building rods to mimic the late 60's styling right now.....why not own an authentic late 60's rod while you still have the chance? She has won or placed in every show I have entered. Now for the details. Small Block Chevy 350 motor running a 6-pack of Holley 94 carbs with open velocity stacks. Offenhauser heads, and a nice loping cam. All six carbs are functional, but I am only running the center two right now. Car is set up to drag, and all six carbs are a little much on the street. She is very fast on two carbs, so imagine all six pumping...Turbo 400 transmission with a shift kit. Again, set up for drag.9" rear end with 3:43 gearsOpen Sanderson Limefire ceramic coated headers. You can attach a set of mufflers (I have them)....but I like to run her the way she should be run. Mufflers are for sissies after all!Original '32 Ford grillRadir tri-rib wheels front and rearRadir wide-white tires all around..drag slicks on the rear. All steel ribbed roof. I've not seen another one like this. It's just another cool small detail that makes her stand out from the pack.Fuel cell and battery have been relocated to the trunk (no rumble seat) for a bit of safety.Georgous paint with hand pin stripping. Color is pretty rare to see and it just stands out from the crowd. Pinstipping is top notch and tastefully done in blue and shite.Blue and white rolled interior in great condition. Blue carpet is in great condition as well.Moon steering wheel on adjustable steering column. The look may not be 100% 1968 authentic, but with the chop and channel it's really the only way to get in and out.Pinstripping also on the dash.Moon fuel tank on the front is not used right now, but it looks awesome. Overall she is a great street or drag hot rod. Loud and fast, the way she should be. Car is in amazing condition for her age..this is NOT a rat rod, this is a very cool and beautiful piece of history. No junk on this car anywhere. She was done right with a perfect stance. You either get the stance correct or you don't...and most rods out there don't. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Sold as is; Buyer responsible for shipping or pick up. I do have the car listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early if she sells.
