Up for sale is a 1970 GTO. Car is a solid Nebraska car, has minimal rust in the front drivers fender that could be fixed with a patch panel. Car has new exhaust sounds and runs good. Needs body work and paint. Interior needs to be redone. Factory green with green interior. Factory air car.I have it listed locally, looking to get 7000.00 or would be interested in a FLH Harley in trade, must be a rideable bike due to the car being a driveable car. I've had some calls about the body about how solid is it. Ok the doors are solid and do not sag. The floor pans and trunk pans are solid. The rockers are solid. The front fender on the drivers side needs a patch panel at the bottom. The passenger side is good. The quarters and wheel housings are solid the quarters need alittle body work not much. All the glass is good. It does need the front and rear valance they are missing. The body of this car has been off the frame and the previous owner had it powder coated. The motor in thi car came out of a 1972 Grand Prix and has been rebuilt. The exhaust was replaced before I brought it back to Michigan, sounds good with the cherry bomb mufflers. The AC bracket is on the motor, needs the hoses,compressor and evaperator coil to have AC again. Turbo 400 trans. This car is a good car for restoration due to not having to spend a ton of money in sheetmetal. I did away with the buy it now price. Lowered the reserve and listed it for 3 days. The car will sell. And drive it home. By the way. It does have a couple of rare options for a 1970 GTO 1. It has rear window defrost wire in the rear window not a blower. Also it has auto trunk release The button is located in the glove box on the left side and the electric solenoid is in the lock area of the trunk. Rare options for this year of GTO.
