Vehicle Detail

This is my 1988 Jeep Comanche. (YOUTUBE VIDEO BELOW LINK) I love this little Jeep but I have to part with it the little Truck.  It's a 4 speed with a 4 Cylinder.   It was built in November of 1987 as a 1988 model.   It was factory Ziebarted and has held up well against rust.   You can see from the cab that there are no rust holes.   The bed is very solid too.  There are a few minor rust bubbles popping up on the bed on the side walls but they are very small.   The rear bumper has been hit, it looks like a load was dropped onto the rear bumper on the left side and bent it down.   It's an easy fix, something I never got bothered with. The interior is in great shape,  You can see the rubber floor mats are shiny and original.   The door panel and dash is great too.   There is a tear in the drivers seat on the seam.  But duck tape would fix this in a hurry.   The cloth head liner is sagging a bit and looks bad (bad as in just ugly). Bad stuff......the windshield is cracked.  The back window is loose and needs to be repaired, it doesn't need to be replaced, just the gasket and glue.   Looks like someone applied pressure to the back window and it came loose from the gasket.  The steering is very hard.  It's not a power steering unit so when it's not moving, it's very hard to turn the steering wheel.  I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or a problem thing.   just putting it out there.   She starts right up and runs strong, not rapping or tapping noises from the engine.  The gears all shift smoothly.  The tail lamps also aren't working.  Not sure what the issue is there.  All other lamps work fine.  It needs new windshield wiper blades too.   The truck was last registered in 2001, it's originally from Rhode Island so it's not seen a lot of snow here in Maine.   The original owner must have treated this vehicle well, you can see how they cared for it. in that for a vehicle with almost 200 thousand miles, it performs quite well. This is a no reserve auction.   I'm listing the start price exactly what I paid for it.  I've put ZERO money into this truck, just cleaned it up an shined it up.   I've never driven it on a long trip.  The brakes work well.   I still would recommend trailering it home...but if a brave sole wanted to try to drive it home, I'm not aware of anything that would cause a problem.  I'll store it for 2 months but then it's 75 dollars per month pro rata. Also, Maine doesn't issue Titles on vehicles older than 89.   This will have a title letter.  VIN JTHS6415HT166669 Link to Youtube of vehicle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2IOr1Nl2hg Please view to hear it and see the engine run. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS WORTH, IT'S SELLING TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER, I'M NOT DOING A SIDE DEAL IN VIOLATION OF EBAY RULES. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN THIS, BID! CAUSE IT'S GONNA SELL :o)
