KELLY BLUE BOOK VALUES: Excellent $15,345; Good $14,695; Fair $13,670 The oil has been changed sooner than needed about every 5,000 miles (sooner after hauling a heavy load) using Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Motor Oil. I am the original owner and purchased this truck in Palm Beach County Florida before moving to Baltimore. The upgraded tires (NITTO TERRA GRAPLER LT 325/60R20 with a load rating of 3195 pounds/tire) really firm up the trucks handling and have awesome traction in snow and mud. This truck has not been used as a recreational mudder; however, it has proven itself worthy on vacation on the sand dunes of the Outer Banks of N.C. and while pulling a fully loaded 20' trailer through blizzard conditions. I have installed the biggest 20" tires that will fit without getting a lift and the truck handles very well on streets, wet or dry. Back in January of 2010 we had 30" of snow on the ground and I misjudged the curb in front of my house due to the snow drifts and slid into the curb at about 5 mph hitting the curb at an exact 90 degree angle with a bed full of snow . . . I knocked the right rear wheel clean off. The repair shop let me keep the tire so I have an extra matching tire that goes with the truck . The upgraded Factory 20" spare is unused and mounted under the bed. Electronic brake controller has been installed. I replaced all of the trucks brakes and rotors maybe 15,000 miles ago. Truck has factory towing package to pull 9,000 pounds. Truck is very powerful and punchy with strong transmission; the majority of the miles are highway miles as I traveled city to city on the fishing show circuit. Passenger's seat rarely used and looks great, rear seats almost never used for anything more than luggage are like new. Drivers seat and center console armrest are well used and show damage (see photo) and could use seat covers . . . I will credit the winning bid for $225.00 to purchase your choice of colors/design in new seat covers. See eBay item number 320680820775 for example. The only serious damage other than the light scratches, etc. is a bad tailgate (see photo). The tailgate still works fine mechanically but it has a big ding right in the middle from me driving off with the gate down while hooked to my trailer. It has been that way since a few months after I bought the truck and I never bothered replacing it for fear that I might do it again. I forgot two more times over the years so I don't really regret not replacing it. The tailgates on these trucks are made to easily remove with simple caliper latches if you want to a new slap on a new one . . . new primed tailgates are low as $300.
