All black 1979 El Camino heavily equipped. A 350 V-8 was installed by previous owner in place of original 4.1 liter V-8. It has some type of cam and runs like hell. Engine backed by rebuilt 350 transmission with warranty. Exhaust system was rebuilt with new turbo mufflers. Vehicle has been sitting for couple of years so cleaned carb and reset floats, new plug wires and distributer cap, oil change, new battery and motor fired right up and runs strong with no smoke. Installed 4 new 205x70x14" tires plus wheel rings and hubcaps. Windshield was replaced. along with wiper blades. Interior has black buckets which could use recovering, factory console with floor shifter, new dash cap, working power windows and after-market radio with rear speakers. Headliner is good, door panels have couple of dings and visors need recovered. Door window seals were replaced. AC system is complete but not working. Speedometer needs new cables to cruise control module, gas gauge doesn't work but tach, oil pressure and ammeter do. Body is straight with only surface rust detected. Paint very thin on top and hood. - no sign of repaint or bondo. Bumpers good and chrome good with all emblems present. Bed has previously had tonneau cover and is very straight. Tailgate in good shape including license plate pocket. Car runs very strong and drives well. Needs nothing except tags and inspection to be daily driver. In Texas can be tagged as Antique or Classic and require only limited inspection. Reserve is less than my investment but want to see this limited edition vehicle back on the road. It doesn't appear to have been a SS as there was no dash emblem but could certainly wear the decals due to it's features. My family is into El Caminos and GMC Diablos having a total of 5. This El Camino is located 60 miles east of Dallas a couple miles north of I-20 near Canton, TX. Will assist in loading or might deliver within a few hundred miles.
