Vehicle Detail
This is my college-bound daughter's beloved 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited which she no longer needs, given that her grumpy old dad (that would be me) doesn't think it's a good idea for a freshman to have a car on campus. It's been a great vehicle for her for the 2+ years that we've had it in the family. I purchased it in June 2009 from Young VW Mazda Dodge in Easton. It runs well, everything works as it should and it is a beautiful metallic khaki green color with a light green cloth interior. It's been well maintained, has new front brakes and rotors, has been detailed thoroughly, has its most current PA inspection and would make a terrific daily driver for anyone who needs the capability of a Liberty and/or just loves its cool looks. The vehicle is not perfect but is in great condition for its year and mileage. But as anyone who's ever bought anything from me on ebay will attest, I'm a straight shooter about the items I sell. So, the photos are a very accurate representation of this very nice truck, but I do want bidders to be aware of the following minor issues that have not impacted the performance, and a few other items (such as limited remaining tire life) that I have factored into the price of the listing. 1. Both key fobs have broken loops (the little hole through which a keyring would go), which is a bit of an inconvenience but easily remedied with Gorilla Tape (worked for my daughter, anyway!) 2. There is a slight ding on one of the doors that could be easily removed with paintless dent repair, and a few other very minor scratches 3. The rear bumper has a crack in it caused by a low-speed "meeting" with our garage door; the crack is only visible when the tailgate is open 4. One of the amber-colored, side turn signals is cracked, the result of our garden tractor apparently being "parked too close" to the Jeep, according to my daughter. Ahem. The turn signal is intact and works fine, it just has cracks in it 5. The tires will need to be replaced within 1,000-2,000 miles 6. The right side of the vehicle had body work done on it last winter to repair damage from a low-speed collision. The work (front fender and front door repairs) was performed at a local Ford dealer and was done flawlessly As I stated, I have factored these minor items into the asking and BIT price, as you will find out if you research the selling prices of similar vehicles. Please email me any questions before bidding and I'll do my best to answer them promptly and completely. Good luck!
