1979 Ferrari 308 gts,(targa top ) just like the one in Magum PI,this one is rare, fly yellow instead of red. Car runs great ,start easy hot or cold,low mileage and no dent,dings or accident. Do not let the very little surface rust on doors scare you,it look bad in picture but it is sanded very smooth and if cover with a coat of paint, nobody hardly notice. I think the original front bumper sticking out more than I like,plus the rubber surface of the original front bumper has a small break-off the size of a Kenndy half dollarr(it is repairable), I bought a European style front bumper for it but I did not put it in because some buyer like everything original. I purchase this car on Ebay in 2002, of the 9 years,I hardly use it at all. Just start and run it once in a while to maintain the engine. The 5 speed transmission is in excellent condition. Timing belts has been changed, the clutch plate is replace by the seller and I did not put in but just very few miles on it. Potential buyer are encourage to view car car before bidding . Car is kept in my weekend home in Discovery Bay,Ca.94505, it is about an hour's drive from Berkeley Ca.,where I work and live. Please do not ask for the reserve price,I will not disclose,do some price research or ask a Ferrari expert, I belive they know that a 1979 308gts is very collectable, it is the last year with the powerful Webbers . All 5 Ferrari rims and tires in good condition, the Targa top is like new and can be stored behind the seats. Under the seat covers,the original leather seats need to be re-uphostred, dash and door panel is in good shape. Email with any questions and I will reply ASAP.
