Vehicle Detail
!984 Honda Xl250R Dual Sport I purchased this bike a few years ago in hopes to restore it and use it a casual rider. I have recently purchased a home and would like more room. I do not have the time to enjoy as it should be. I have gone over the majority of the bike and have addressed any isses of concern. The bike is completely original and any parts that were replaced were done with OEM components. I purchased the bike from the original owner with roughly 3k miles. I have rdden the bike about 800 miles. I have done all needed service to date. I just changed the oil and all new parts have less than 500 milles on them. Hopefully this bikecan be enjoyed by someone that appreciates an older air cooled Honda single. I am an expert level roadracer and atv racer and I have onwed many bikes over the years. This is a very fun bike for open back roads and smooth dirt trails. OEM items replaced: Front fork seals and oil Clutch assembly(plates/fibers/springs) Throttle and Clutch cable Oil/filter - GN4 during refresh ELF 10w-50 100% currently Tites and Tubes Chain and Sprockets - Airbox/Filter - purchased bike with disassembled airbox Carbs thoroughly cleaned Spark plug Lubricated linkage Battery Replaced with OEM Yuasa last 2 months Current PA inspection / registration the bike is located in lansdale PA 19446. I can be reached at 215 738 1188 John If you are truly interested feel free to call for details. This is a older Honda air cooled single. It will not run up front against MX race or give the loacl street hero a run for there money. It will however put a smile on your face down a fire road or on some nice 3 rd gear windy roads without getting arrested. Bike cruises comfortably 25-65. In the higher MPH the large fender makes the bike giggle about abit. 6th gear is a bit long and 75 is possible without overev on a typical smaller single. I do not reccomend extended 75mph runs though. Thanks for Looking
