258 ci. in-line six cylinder (roughly 5000mi on rebuild) T-18 Transmission (4-speed manual) Dana 30 front differential Dana 20 transfer case AMC 20 rear differential New painless wiring harness New 1 barrel intake manifold (cast iron) New 2 barrel weber carb New seats Rhinolining on all metal inside New sending units (fuel, temp, oil pressure) New dash panel with new crash pad and all new gauges (speedometer is orginal but fuel and temp inside are new and do work) New heater coil and the heat works very well New tan brown soft top with new soft doors (not pictured with top on because it's summer time and I still drive this jeep daily) New wheels and new 31" tires New spring shackles giving 1 1/2" of lift (made by Daystar) New mile marker hubs New exaust from nose to tail (Yes...including exaust manifold) I have all receipts for the work I have done to this jeep. This is a very nice jeep, get's alot of attention when out cruising around. I do have lots of odd and end parts for this jeep that will be included in sale...mainly things I have taken off and upgraded. A good example would be the orginal 1 barrel carter carb. I should mention that I have another set of wheels for this jeep that will also be included in the sale. This jeep runs great and looks great! No rust anywhere! The paint is good but not perfect. This jeep is a daily driver and if you live near Culpeper or Orange VA. you have more than likely seen me cruising around. This jeep is as close to orginal as I could get it...never been in mud and always garage kept. It was babied since the day I got it...and believe me I get alot of crap for it! If your looking for a very close to orginal AMC Jeep that's in close to excellent shape...this is it! I have posted 21 pictures that show this jeep off pretty well I think.On Sep-02-11 at 14:58:37 PDT, seller added the following information: All heat and air control cables are new. Also...the new headlight control switch came with the new wiring harness and I put in a new windshield wiper switch. My jeep drives very good, no fighting to keep it in the road. I think keeping a normal size tire on a CJ makes them much more enjoyable. I did put a new steering stablizer on...OEM standard. All the pictures I have seen of Gen. Patton riding in jeeps none of them had 35 to 38" tires on them...go figure right.
