This is a 2001 Blue Jetta TDI, with a 1.9 Turbo Diesel engine and an Automatic Transmission. I have put in plenty of pictures to describe everything as possible to maintain my 100% positive feedback. So if you are not sure please ask me a question or do not bid. This Vehicle has a clean Title and was purchased from a CT Auction. It has about 143,000 miles · I am currently driving the car and drives without any engine noise, or mechanical problems. (very good on fuel mileage) · The transmission shifts smooth and without hiccups or jerks. · There are no oil leaks; the car still has its plastic shield underneath. Please see the multiple photos of the engine. · My Mechanic inspected this vehicle prior to posting on ebay. The timing belt appears to be replaced in the past based his visual inspection of the belt, but I don’t have any records for it. No rubber powder from the wear of the belt. · The brake pads are about half way but still good. · There are small rusted areas on the edge of the hood, as shown in the pictures; paint touch up will treat them if you care too much about the car. · The lever or handle of the glove compartment is broken. This is a common poor design by VW. The compartment still opens and closes by inserting couple fingers inside. Please see the photos. · The tires are in very good condition with plenty of tread in them, please see the photos. · There are some dirty spots on the seat (grease) that is removable if detailed or cleaned. · All power windows work, gas and trunk lever works, the remote control works for keyless entry. · CT residents will be responsible for paying the sales tax. · All buyers are responsible for transportation. · A minimum of 500 dollars deposit is required within 48 hours for the auction winner through Paypal. I will accept the remaining balance in bank check. Please understand, I am not trying to lie or deceive anyone about selling a bad car, it drives very nice without any mechanical issues.
