hello, what i have here is my 1957 chevy resto-mod that had a frame off restoration that ended about 4 years ago. this car is a daily driver, with that said it will not win a first place at a concourse show but will stand tall at normal car shows. i will describe the car as best as i can and if you have any questions or want extra pictures please email me. also this car is for sale local and i have the right to end the auction at any time. there is no reserve on the car and is priced way less then it would cost to build it or how much i have invested in it car is a 210 sedan body style. v-8 350 crate engine and 5 speed manuel transmission. car gets pretty good mpg on the interstate and i would not be afraid to drive this car to cali. it still is a used car and may have a hiccup if driven all the way across the country but i would not be afraid to do it. frame, suspension- california one piece frame, no rust and never had any repairs. frame was taken to bare metal and por-15. had new springs and rubber installed about 6 years ago when the restoration began. also all new brake and fuel lines. car has oversized disk brakes upfront and factory drums in the rear. power brakes 18 inch coys up front and 20 in the rear tires are high performance and have 3500 miles on them 2 1/2 drop spindles and 2 inch drop blocks in the rear. car has a perfect stance. body- car was completly brought down to bare metal. if great origional parts could be found they were used any new aftermarket metal came from cars inc and welded in. complete new floors including trunk floor. no spare tire well so no spare tire. ALL metal was treated and por-15 on the inside it is going to take a lot to make this car rust again. car is painted white/ then hugger orange/ then a gold pearl on top of the orange followed by clear cote. dupont chromabase materials were used. new windshield and side glass but is the stock origional rear glass that is in good condition. all chrome is new from danchuk or double nickle. the outside door handles and mirror is starting to show slight marks but still in great driver condition. the front bumper has some knicks from road debris but still great driver condition. all other chrome looks new. the paint is in good condition but has a few nicks around it. also could use a wet sand and buff. remember this is a daily driven car so it is not perfect interior- i do not belive the front seat is a chevy but a pontiac seat from the same era. the interior is done in a simulated leather and suede. all gauges work and are custom made from auto meter gauges. clock does not work. all windows work like new and seat moves forward and backwards fine. has a cd player and speaker set up in trunk that is more for show then bang bang lol. car had origional rear speaker so i turned the factory speaker switch on the dash to controll the bass for the amp. its pretty cool heater works perfect and gets nice and warm in the winter months engine / trans- engine is a center bolt crate 350 that runs like new. if car sits for over a week the gas drains back a little from carb and takes a few seconds to start up. and when it does it puffs a slight amount of dark smoke then clears right up and does not smoke any more. new one wire alternator and water pump. trans is a 5speed t-5 it came out of a v-8 trans am and then i had purchased a s-10 case. i swaped everything around so that i can use the bench seat. ( s10 shifters are more forward then the trans am.) aluminum radiator billet aluminum on engine may need a repolishing. no leaks like i said this is a daily driven car and has a few flaws. the paint has some chips, the clock is not working. i have a clear florida title in my name, vin numbers match but title says 4 door for some reason. car is definitely not a 4 door and never was. if you have any questions please email me and i will take pics of any parts what you want. low reserve so bid to buy. only reason this car is even forsale is i purchased a nomad and need the funds for that project. i tried to be as honest as i could and tell you of all the flaws instead of trying to hide them $500.00 due within 24 hours of auction end via paypal. rest is due cash upon pickup or bank deal. car must be paid n full no later then 7 days after end of auction. i can hold car in my garage for 1 month. bidders with less then 10 pos feedback need not bid. car is sold as is. please ask all questions and i will take as many pictures as wants pictures were takes 7-13-11. all fluids are toped and fresh ready to drive home.
