1964 Volkswagen Classic BeetleExcellent Mechanical Condition - Low Mileage Overall condition of this rare high bumper 1964 VW Classic Beetle is excellent and ready to be fully restored. Can be driven as is and draws a lot of attention on the road. Seat covers are original and in good condition with no tears. Engine was overhauled prior to being placed in storage for about 25 years. Has only 66,000 original miles. Engine starts immediately and runs excellently. Has original 6 volt electric system. All exterior and interior (dome) lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, windshield washer and gauges work properly. Has original radio but it does not play (cause unknown). Paint job (Sante Fe Tan) looks satisfactory but not of high quality. Headliner has several small holes. Carpeting behind backseat has been repaired and is in satisfactory condition. My starting bid is less than my total investment to-date in the VW.
