Starts at $3000 with NO RESERVE. Very rare Mercury Marauder Park Lane 2 door fastback. Only 2721 made. How many survive today? 390 Super Marauder engine with 300 HP. I got the car as payment for work, so I don't know a lot of it's history. VIN is Z67Z525223. Data Plate info: Body 63F, Color B (peacock), Trim 47, Date 2A (Jan 2), DSO 84, Axle 5, Trans 5. Air cleaner housing is in the trunk. Car appears to be 100% original and shows 00228 miles. Has Calif Black and yellow rear plate. I will have a Clean Calif title in hand at time of sale. Was told the motor turned over 9 months ago, but that it has a rod knock. Odometer shows 00228 miles. I'm assuming it's really 100228, but I don't know for sure. Does not start now. Has an Edelbrock carb and newly installed headliner. The Park Lane was the top of the line of the Mercury Marauder series in 1964. The lower trims were the Monterey and Montclair. This one has power bench seat, power windows front and rear, and AC. Best of all it's a complete car. Parts may be hard to find, but you have it all in this car. Very minor surface rust and chrome and stainless in excellent condition. Will need upholstery, carpet, paint and some engine work for sure. On Aug-27-11 at 13:49:01 PDT, seller added the following information: I added 18 new pictures. Bidders with less than 10 bid rating need to call me to verify your bid. I put some jumper cables to it and got the motor to turn over. I think with more time it would fire up. Power windows did not work in 3 of 4. Driver's front motor did make noise, but did not engage the glass. Power seat likewise made noise but did not move the seat. Radio came on. Did not try anything else.
