Vehicle Detail

For auction on ebay is my 1974 Dodge Challenger. This is a great project for you to finish. It is equipped with a very strong 440/727 combo. The motor came out of a friends 69 Charger and is a good/strong motor. He took his speed parts for his stroker motor so the motor still needs accessories hooked up. I bought this car mostly how you see it, with the exception of it being a running/driving 318 car. When I purchased it about 5 months ago, I immediately had the 440/727 installed. The engine bay was stripped down and painted black. My hopes were for a triple black Challenger. Soon after I broke my hand and have been out of work so the car has sat unfinished. The body on the car is very good and straight as you can see. It is ready to paint for the most part. Your normal prep work will be needed but 95% of bodywork is done. I had planned on saving up for a nice black paint job but with not working, its just not possible. The interior has new carpet, and I had the seats redone. Console is very nice. Front door panels are marginal with typical chalking. Needs headliner and I have all the bows. Dash is in pretty good overall shape with a few cracks. Gauges/Cluster in very good shape. Grille, Taillights, trim all in good shape. Has rallye wheels and disc brakes. Brakes still work and in good shape along with suspension. Has a nice rallye hood. Needs front hood trim as that is missing. All the glass is in great shape with no chips or cracks. Windows roll up and down fine, and doors open and close great. Body is solid and has original trunk floor still in it. Has some minor pitting in trunk but very solid. Overall an easy project to put together and drive. If you have a little time, money and effort you could have the car back on the road quickly. Its at the point where you can do whatever you like with the car. Conceivably you could put a cheap paint job on it , get it running and resell or get it together and enjoy as is. I had planned to drive as is until I could afford to paint it. It still looks pretty tough as is. I will include all extra parts I have for it including a fan, headers, and misc engine items I have for the car. It will need fuel hooked up, accessories, fan, radiator, hoses, exhaust , and linkage hooked up. Possibly some things I am missing, just email me and I will let you know. Keep in mind this is a project that does not currently run. I am sure I will get emails asking if it runs or if I will get it running. I dont have the time, money or ability to get it running and that is why I am selling it. Right now I cannot work on anything. I have nearly 10k into the car with buying the car, motor/trans, recovering seats, and misc items I have done to the car. I am putting this car on a no reserve and will sell to the highest bidder. Great opportunity to buy a great project with the majority of the bodywork done. This car will need to be trailored/transported. Please make sure you have all approvals before bidding on my car. I dont have time for non paying bidders. This is a no reserve auction which means each bid is a potentially winning bid. Dont bid on my car just to bid on it with no real desire to own it. Please read all details Buyer to pay non refundable deposit of $500.00 within 48 hours of auctions end. Balance due within 5 business days of end of auction. No exceptions! Buyer responsible for all shipping charges. I will however help load the car on transport truck if needed. Payment to be made using bank wire transfer, bank cashiers check or cash in person. Car is sold with clean a clean title. Bidders are welcome/encouraged to view the car prior to auctions end. Out of state/country bidders are welcome/encouraged to hire a 3rd party inspection. However, once auction is over and you are the winning bidder the car will be yours. Again, make arrangements prior to auctions end to view/inspect the car. Car is sold as is, where is. Sale of vehicle is Final! This is a private party sale and the car is sold with no warranties expressed or written. This is a project car that does not run! Please make sure you have satisfied your expectations of the car. The car is actively for sale and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason. The car will be for sale locally as well. If you have questions on anything please send me an email for a quick response. I want the vehicle to go to someone who will appreciate the car. Thank you and good luck!
