0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false OK, before I go into my sales speech, you have to realize some things: 1. I just bought this from a dealer in FL in July (St. Pete’s Powersports). 2. I have added a crap-load of brand new performance and aesthetic mods that make the bike BAD ASS!! 3. I haven’t even taken friggin delivery yet, so I am KICKING myself for even placing this ad! The bike ships up to me in NYC this coming week, so hopefully it will be sold by the time it arrives. I’m having it sent by crate, which is costing $1k, just to ensure that she stays pristine! So, why the sale? I have decided to buy a Black 2012 Shelby GT500 instead, and I cannot justify maintaining two vehicles in the city. I refuse to buy the car until I know that the bike is going to a new owner, thus the no-reserve, cliché my-loss-is-your-gain spiel! I could let the photos sell the bike without writing anything else, but here’s a speech anyhow, as I know an interested buyer needs to read a bit to get the juices flowing! This matte black beauty is in LIKE NEW condition. Never laid down! No stunting or other abuse. Adult-owned. Very unique with the matte black paint scheme. Sexy single-sided swing-arm, the poster-child of the naked bike category, and the one that really started the hooligan era and the street-fighter category! You won't see another Matte Black w/ Mods like this for sale anytime soon! I could have bought a new Speed Triple instead, but I’m sorry, too big and fugly! This bike is lean, mean, and rip-roaring intimidation! The stock cans had to go, I simply refuse to place my pretty ass on top of such an ugly tail end! If you’re going to do under-seat, then do under-seat, or switch to a single-sided GP-style race pipe, I did! A 10-HP gain isn’t such a bad thing either, bringing this example well over the 130-HP mark! As mentioned in my ad details, I purchased a full warranty for another two years, which is transferable to the new owner, over $800 value. I also purchased a Lo-Jack tracking device which is installed on the bike, and will not only tell you her location, but also if she goes out of a pre-determined geographic area, or over a pre-determined speed. You set the boundaries! Huge insurance break for having such a device installed! SO… Absolutely nothing to worry about! Buy THIS BIKE! Please, so I can get my car! (Goshdarnit, I must be smoking crack to be letting her go! L) Extras included: Full Arrow 3-into-1 Racing exhaust system (awesome sound, blue flames!!) Carbon Fiber belly pan (tidies up the bottom big-time, is installed, but you won’t notice her in all of the pics because some were taken before the install a couple days ago!) CRG black shorty levers (I have the stock levers) Rear tire Carbon Fiber Triumph Brand Hugger (eliminated rocks and other crap from shooting up into the rear suspension etc.) Rear fender eliminator (who’d want that 10-ft long stock fender? Yuck!) Dealer-tuned for the arrow exhaust so as not to run rich, like a self-install would cause. Lo-Jack Security System FULL 2-YEAR WARRANTY redeemable at ANY BIKE SERVICING SHOP! I won't go too deep into the specifications, as I'm sure if you're looking at this ad and you've read this far - that you've done your research. Do note that the this 2010 Model has the more efficient digital speedo/analog tach, which I think is the best combo! With over 130 screaming horses, this bike is as raw as they come. Brutal when you want to be, but well-behaved in stop and go traffic. The torque, the sound (an exotic banshee howl is the best description!), and the leverage with the high street bars are all very addictive. One ride up to Bear Mountain (or insert twisty road of your choice) and you'll be hooked - I was! I went from a 400cc Honda to this with no problem! Zero to 60 in 3 seconds flat, ¼ mile in low-11's @ over 125mph! That’s faster than a Z06 or a 911 Turbo! Want to stay ahead of traffic? No problemo. And you get respect from the Harley and the Sportbike crowd simultaneously! Clean title but it’ll be a little wait from the DMV before it’s in hand, as I only just registered the bike about three weeks ago. This doesn’t prevent you from purchasing and registering her and riding her right away. If you have any questions, or you want to schedule a viewing, just let me know. If you need to know how she feels, then you’re looking at the wrong bike, because you should already know that she feels friggin AWESOME! Or go to a dealer and ride one.
