Up for Auction is this company owed, 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo with a 3.4 L V-6 , strong running, front wheel drive, automatic transmission drive train. The car is in fair to good condition with the inspection running out the end of August 2011. Due to budget cuts we have to get rid of our Company owed transportation. Our loss could be your gain. The exterior is in good shape and does not have any dents, however, in front of both rear wheels there are rust spots that need repaired. The steel wheels are hub cap covered. The interior is comfortable and in good shape for an older car with fold down rear seats. Other than wear and tear; the bad things are-air/heater fan only operates in the high position, no sunroof, brakes and rotors in front need replaced (brake light on dash stays on and you can feel it during braking) and the codes need reset because engine light remains on even though nothing appears to be wrong, it could possibly be oxygen sensor on converter. Tires seem to be good with miles left on them. This car has an aluminum frame, large clean trunk and original spare. With a little work and TLC this would be an affordable and dependable daily driver.
