Selling my 1980 Spit. Car has April 2011 PA Inspections and applied Emissions Exempt sticker. Garage kept and in the 9 years I have owned the car has not seen a drop of rain. Body and engine in excellent condition. 34.8k original miles. Comes with black soft top in like new condition, original black leather tonneau cover in excellent condition, two copies owners/repair manual and some extra parts I have around. Great car ready to drive and have fun with. I purchased the car in 1992 with 32,475 miles. Current mileage is 34,852. Since I have owned it, the car has been kept in a garage and never driven in any wet conditions. Paint is in good condition with some scratches and a blemish here and there - would rate the paint 8 out of 10. Soft top is in excellent conditions and looks almost new. Engine is strong and runs 100%. Interior needs the most work - will need new seat covers and a few pieces of trim need glued as they have come loose. Emission equipment has pretty much been removed. I've kept everything I have taken off. No Rust on the body or floor pans (drivers floor pan has some light surface rust due to a spill in the brake master cylinder). This is also some minor surface rust around the battery and master cylinders. Only work I've ever done to the vehicle: When first purchased: replace one of the rear universals joints, new exhaust manifold and new muffler Recent repairs were a new altinator, fuel pump and a new brake master cylinder (I still have the original as it turns out the master was fine and there was a pinhole leak in a brake line).
