I bought this car about a year ago with big plans in mind. I wanted a real cobra to start with and when I came across this I jumped on it. The car has 236k miles on it, and at that it ran great. I've driven it a couple thousand miles in the last couple months and have had no problems. The suspension and steering is very tight, the interior is in great shape 8.5 out of 10. The driver seat only has wear lines in the leather and no rips at all. The power seat works great, the windows, ice cold air conditioning, heat, interior lights, clock, all work as they did when new. The car has a clean title and no accidents (feel free to carfax it, vin # is listed above). The rearend was rebuilt by S+K speed and has 4.10 gears (have receipt). All the suspension has been done as well. The only thing left to the car with high mileage is the original motor. The mileage didnt scare me, it started right up everytime and drove, sounded, and felt like it did when it was new. I figured why pay 8k + for a bone stock low mileage cobra when im going to build the motor and have to upgrade the suspension anyway. The previous owner was a police officer and he drove it to the city every day for 10years, hence the reason for the high miles, but atleast in 99% on the highway. I started to get the motor ready to be pulled so I could rebuild it with stronger internals in preperation for a supercharger. I did not plan on putting the car up for sale or I would of just put it up for sale and not taken it apart. If you put the intake manifold, wiring harness and a fresh set of injectors in it will run like it did new. The wiring harness is clean and I took very good care not to damage anything. I am a certified mechanic, I do things the right way. This is the original hand built DOHC 4.6. This is the perfect car for someone with the same goals i have. Im putting the car up for sale only because i'd like to jump on a business venture i've come across and could use the extra money. Thats my only reason for selling the car. If it does not sell i'll start working on it again the second the auction ends. This is dirt cheap for a cobra. Especially one that is accident free. The ONLY reason the price is so low is because obviously some assembly is required and the high mileage. If your handy take advantage of the situation and get your self in a cobra for cheap.
