Vehicle Detail
This motorcycle is ready for on- and off-road. I'm selling my DRZ400S with 5580 miles (mileage will increase slightly during the sale). Bike is in excellent running shape, well cared for and kept in a heated garage. Battery is always on a Battery Tender. Body work has the usual dings from riding gravel and what-not. Hand guards are scratched and so are their supports -- because they did what they were supposed to do. I cut the knob off the clutch control, and it is bent from a get-off, but none of the "blemishes" affect control/operation of the bike. The bike looks like it has been used for dualsport, but not like it has been crashed nor abused (it hasn't). This bike has never needed anything other than routine maintenance. These bikes are known for being reliable. Location: Asheville, NC I have already down the work to set this bike up properly for dual-sport: The engine side-cases have protective plates, radiator has a guard, 3rd party handle bar (Protaper), hand guards. It also comes with a Garmin Quest 2 GPS plus the handlebar mount for it. Tires are ok, Pirelli MT21s that have maybe 1/3 of their life left. Plus, it comes with two repair manuals (plus the owner's manual, of course). (I have this for sale locally and reserve the right in accordance with Ebay rules to stop the auction.) Bike runs great -- I'm selling because I am no longer riding. I am the original owner. Payment options Cash is always best. You can use Paypal also. I only accept a cashier's check after it has been reviewed/certified by MY bank. This means that we will have to complete the sale during banker's hours. Shipping is buyer's responsibility. I won't release the bike, nor sign the title until I have funds in hand. Please use a responsible, professional shipper to ensure a good sales experience. Shipper needs to pickup during daylight hours, giving 48 hours notice of his arrival, and is responsible for loading.
