1966 Ford Mustang Coupe!Muscle car for a decent price! This is a great classic Mustang that runs well and it in overall GREAT condition! Please see below the details of what has been done to the car, what the car needs and what it came out of the factory with! Please note that the car is a daily driver so mileage may be slightly higher than listed below & above. Thanks Lets start out with what it needs:Carbeurator needs tweeking, running a little lean, but we do not have the expertise to get it where it needs to purr (car does run well but not as well as it could) THIS IS A CHEAP FIX!Rip in drivers side seat (can be sewn up or a seat cover from JC Whitney)Rear passenger small window, does not like to stay up, may need new track insideSmall paint chips on body but nothing major, NO RUST, this is a true Southern car! Now, for what we have put into the car in the last 3 months:Rebuilt/replaced 200 straight 6 engine with 1 barrel carb (engine out of a 72 Mercury Comet, original had sat for years in a garage without proper fluids and spun a bearing once it was driven again)NEW radiator/cooling system including temp sender, thermostat, 6 blade heavy duty fanNEW REAR sway bar, unbelievable how much it tightened up the handlingNEW set of tires with all 4 center caps, pic shows one missing but they are all there...NEW dual exhaustNEW master cylinderNEW Pertronix ignitor - Ford Motorcraft distributor (not installed on the car yet)NEW rubber nuts to hold all emblams securly in place (waiting on the mail man to deliver)Transmission has been serviced, replaced linkeage o-ring gasketCarb was rebuilt with new kit and timing was set, still needs a bit of tweeking, see aboveFresh tune up & oil changeReproduction Mustang AM/FM cassette stereoNEW Grant steering wheel (original comes with car along with center piece)Comes with fully rebuilt 2nd carb with different set up along with numerous other bits and pieces including another alternatorFactory or former owner features:Car started its life as a straight 6 - 200 and still is that way with replaced/rebuilt engine, 1 barrel carbAll Emblems in placePea size stone chip in windshield, nothing major all other glass goodDash is in great conditionDrivers side has rip in seat, rest of interior is in above average conditionNo dents or rustSTARTS, STOPS AND DRIVES GREAT!Bright Red in color, with black interiorAutomatic TransmissionAs far as we can tell mileage is 11,827 on body, we do NOT believe it has gone over 100KEngine has approx. 70,000 on it Remember folks this is a 45+ year old car and it is not NEW, it is a true classic. These cars do not drive like todays car so dont be expecting a perfect smooth car, this is a classic muscle car! Car is sold as is as seen with no written or implied warranty.
