Professionally balanced 302 w/NOS (400-450 hp). Windage tray. Edelbrock cam, intake, and 650 cfm carb. All MSD ignition and billett distributor. 1000 hp rated champion aluminum 4 row radiator. 5 speed transmission. Ford 9" rear end 3.73 gears w/31 spline axles. Aluminum driveshaft. Effortless shifting with cable clutch. Shorty headers. Hi flow aluminum dual exhaust. Power disc brakes. Hi performance suspension. Camber kit. Bump steer kit. Urethane bushings throughout car including trans mount. Dynamat throughout entire interior. Custom dash panels and interior guages. Corbeau seats. Nothing is wrong with this car either mechanically or visually. Car has been driven on weekends only over past year. Very streetable. Runs, drives and handles extremely well. I have a 14 month old boy and have run out of money. My wife has lost her job. My loss is your gain. This car would cost you $60,000 to build and would sell for $45,000 - $50,000 with less than $1000 worth of finishing touches. Needs dashboard, headliner, heater core, e-brake, and trunk divider panel to be totally finished. CALL TOM 323-334-5941. On Aug-19-11 at 23:40:25 PDT, seller added the following information: "AMERICAN IDOL CAR". This car was featured in the 2009 season of "American Idol" (formerly painted in highland green). Each of the final contestants were photographed either in or against this car. They made me sign a letter of non-disclosure. Many photos were seen in multiple episodes throughout the latter part of the 2009 season. Included with this car will be a photo album of every step of this restoration beginning to end. On Aug-23-11 at 10:14:27 PDT, seller added the following information: The brake system is all new and consists of a hi performance booster/master cylinder kit pre calibrated for front discs and rear drums. The fronts disc brakes start with a larger than stock foundation. The spindles are larger granada spindles which accommodate the 11" front granada rotors (this is a common performance upgrade for the mustangs). Therefore when you replace the front disc pads, you will ask for 78 granada pads. Rears drums are new, but are stock mustang configuration. All brake lines and hoses are of course new. Suspension is all high performance and made to work together as a kit. This suspension is designed for high performance street use without sacrificing driveability. My mom even thinks this car drives smoothly. Front springs are 2" lower than stock 650# springs. Rears are 2" lower than stock mid-eye 4 1/2 leaf GT springs. KYB gas shocks front and rear. Front sway bar is 1" and rear is 3/4". Entire car including suspension has been upgraded to urethane bushings. Suspension has a lifetime manufacturers warranty including bushings for entire car. Wheels and tires. Wheels are custom backspaced bullitt style wheels. They are set deep for a very aggressive look (especially the rears). Rears are 18x10's. Fronts are 18x8's. Tires are "Z" rated Yokohamas 275 35 18 rear and 245 40 18 front. Wheels and tires alone are over $2,500.00. Forgot to include in items needed for completion is the trunk carpet (about $87.00). Dynamat has been laid throughout car including trunk. Trunk carpet can simply be laid over dynamat. I have a picture of trunk area which includes the battery and stainless steel battery box made for trunk housing. I would like to add the picture but am unable to because I have reached picture limit. If someone can explain to me how to delete a picture, I would like to add this. Thanks for your inquiries. I'm trying to stay on top of them all. Sorry if your inquiries have not been answered promptly. Good Luck!On Aug-23-11 at 14:34:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Four more things I forgot: I never purchased a speedometer cable. The speedometer guage is new (as well as all the other custom white-faced guages) and works perfectly, but needs cable (approx. $20). Installation is about 10 min. All other guages work perfectly. Car has very nice detachable-face Alpine CD/am/fm stereo. Its a 4 speaker system with remote amp mounted in trunk. Car has two theft device systems. Battery kill switch in trunk. Remote door poppers which can only be activated through either of 2 handheld keychain devices. The door handles on the inside are merely for show. Exterior door handles have been deleted. Couple people asked about the driver side exterior mirror. It is a bullitt mirror found on shelby R models. This is the highest quality mirror on the market ($180).
