1979 Sunroof Coupe, charcoal with black interior and white headliner (new), nearly new carpets, wind up windows and a blast to drive. This car was my PCA drivers education car and has upgrades to improve handling. Suspension has been completly rebushed, new drop links, turbo tie rod kit added, torsion bars upped to 22mm front, 28mm rear, new Bilstein shocks in 2005, new rotors in 2010, new hawk blue pads in 2011, not a soft riding car, firm but not harsh.New calibers in 2006, Transmission was rebuilt in 2009 by European Performance Raleigh, NC, gates shift kit, shift bushings new, clutch new in 2005, new brake master cylinder. Body was repainted in metallic gray-black in 2005 and shows wear since. All new rubber was added, no rust found during painting. It looks good with some scrapes and scratches. I would classify it as a 10-10. (A ten at ten feet). New windshield was added during painting as well a the new headliner. Wheels are Fuchs (little fox) and sports Toyo Proxies RA1 front and rear. Wheels are 6s front and 7s rear. Fenders have been rolled and it has run with 7s and 9s. Engine was rebuilt in 2007 with new Maule Cylinder/piston set from Jerry Woods, all new valves, new rod and main bearings, rotating parts balanced, cams are DC13 grind (1/2 way between SC and 964), new Carrera oil pump, new chains, pressure fed chain tensioners. SSIs and sport muffler. Has a Carrera oil cooler, Elephant oil lines. Car runs cool at the track. Sport steering wheel, front and rear tow hooks. Bonus feature a tow dolly for $100 cash at pick up. Load car and tow away. Pick up truck or equilivant recommended. Reason for selling. Sold my house with a 3 car garage with shop and moved to a retirement community. Sold my lift, compressor and many tools. Also getting a little old for the up and down necessary. Please do not bid if you are not going to complete the transaction. Car is being sold as-is, where-is.
