1996 BMW 318 ti 5 spd. w/ Factory “M” Sports Package Exterior: 100% solid, rust-free, smooth panels w/ excellent, original paint. One small chip as seen in pic above filler door. Front spoiler has usual, but minor chips on edge. Beautiful M pin stripping, excellent rubber, trim, glass, lenses. Amazingly, the BMW 5 spokes have NO Curb Rash or blemishes! Car was recently rubbed down w/ a detailing clay bar & not even waxed for the pictures; that's how nice the finish is. Engine/Driveline: Excellent condition showing no leaks or drips & is tight & quiet. Engine was not washed or detailed for pics & would look as new if done. This fact, along w/ the very minor imperfections in the car caused me to conservatively grade it a *#2-, not a # 2. Undercarriage: Absolutely clean & drip-free, not even showing surface rust. Exhaust, springs, shocks, bushings, boots, hoses etc. in very good condition. Interior: As new w/the exception of a small tear on the driver's left side seat bolster & minimal wear on the driver's seat back, left side bolster, both seen in pics. Beautiful, durable brocade cloth is in excellent condition as are the leather inserts, headliner, door panels & carpets. Seats are fully adjustable manually - meaning no extra weight, no electrics or motors to fail or get stuck. Dash has no cracks & everything works as new. Road Test/Mechanically: Nothing wrong or needed w/ this BMW. Drives & handles quickly & precisely. Excellent acceleration, steering & braking combined w/ a fantastic exhaust note - not the tail pipe extension sound of the wannabe fartmobiles you see & hear.
