*** NO RESERVE *** 1996 Honda Shadow Spirit VT1100 - 52,692 miles - Get it now and be ready for the best riding of the year: late summer & fall! Good used bike. I hardly ever ride it, just don't have the time with the family and kids and wife said get it out! Have probably put less than 200 miles a year past few years on it. It's sat outside but has always been covered. Bought it used on ebay about 5 years back. Put about $500 into it this year and $500 last. Always been registered & inspected (has current valid inspection). Oil/Filter changed yearly. Serviced only by local reputable Honda dealer last 2+ years. New this year: new windshield (new glass w/ same hardware - Memphis Shades w/quick detach), new front fork seals, plugs (splitfire), coolant fluid, starter solenoid New last year: brand new Honda rear wheel, rear brakes, rear-end fluid Replaced battery ~ 2 years ago. Tested good when in for inspection recently. Replaced stator & regulator w/high performance aftermarket parts ~ 3-4 years ago. Completely disassembled and repainted tins ~ 3 years ago. Used spray & clear coat. Came out decently. Fenders look good. Put black rubber undercoat/sound dampener on rear fender. Tank has some streaks showing in paint where I wasn't able to completely strip factory primer to bare metal and definitely needs some clear coat (some gas drop smears) and where rubber from handlebars sit on front left side of tank has melted finish leaving a ~ 2" tall blemish (not noticeable when parked). Chrome flames are magnetic and can be easily removed. Has had some (electrical) starting issues in the past (hence replacing stator/regulator). This year dealer replaced starter solenoid which seems to have taken care of issues. Will include battery tender, Clymer & Haynes repair/maintenance manuals and The Essential Guide to Motorcycle Maintenance (almost brand new - $30) Have helmets too - make me an offer if you want to include those - have 2 full face (blue flame design on both) - Small & Medium and 2 half (one black one black/silver) - Large & XL Only experienced bidders with positive ratings!
