2nd owner of this very rare color options (Sonic Blue with blue interior). In my two years of owning this car, I have never seen another with this color option. The car is in very good condition inside and out. I can find no signs of rust. Volvo does an excellent job in preventing rust. In our 1999 Volvo V70 that we owned for 11 years, and drove in many snowy locations of the US and Germany, we never found any rust. The only fault is a crack in the lower rear bumper cowling, which occurred when slowly backing into a low snowbank. The paint is not scratched where the crack is located, and I attempted to take a picture of it, however it does not show in the picture. Also note the paint peeling on the roof rack. It was peeling when we purchased it and has gotten worse over time. This is a fault of the manufacture (poor paint on the rack only) If I were to keep, I would get them powder coated. I purchased this car from CarMax in 2009 with 38,000 miles. It was for sale in Maryland, and we lived in Oregon, thus I had it shipped to the closest CarMax dealership in California. In 2010 I drove it across country to New York where I currently live. I am in the US Army, and in preparation for year long deployment we are selling to save money (car payment and insurance). The car has a clear Carfax and has never been in an accident (the crack in the cowling listed above being the minor exception). Don't hesitate to ask questions about any aspect of the vehicle.
