Vehicle Detail
Up for sale today is my 1982 Supra. It was taken apart by me to be restored and this is as far as it's gotten. I replaced the engine in 1995 with one out of an '84 or '85 Supra. At this time a new clutch was installed also. I drove it for a couple more years and then took it apart '97 to restore it. I purchased a few new parts and got some nice used stuff. Can't remember what all there is now, but it all goes. Most of it is packed in boxes, but some are just stacked on top of each other. Buy the car and you get it all. Will not seperate or sell parts individually! The body is in very nice shape. A couple of dents and scratches. There are small rust holes in the rear quarter panels behind the wheel well openings, where the factory mud flaps were mounted. No larger than a half dollar coin size. The rear panel behind the drivers side taillight has ripples in it from straightening out after it was backed into. The light was replaced and the panel hammered out so the light would fit better. There is a dent /gouge in the drivers front fender, less than a foot long. Some surface rust on the doors and other areas. Not rusted through. The rear hatch lid is NOT rusted through. It also has the large spoiler that mounts high on the lid. It is removed. The floors are perfect. Also included are the factory fender flares. The body was repainted once in 1989. The paint is faded. The interior is mostly removed from the car. Dash and original digital gauge cluster still in place. Don't think it is cracked. The cloth seats are piled on top of each other. They are most likely creased and dirty. There are several sets, including black front sport seats that are in rough shape. Don't remember why I kept these. Engine is from the '84 or '85. I think it has around 85,0000 miles on it. Ran very well. No smoke or rattles. The vehicle has not run in over 10 years. It should still be good, may need seals replaced. Trans is original. Clutch in place on engine in vehicle. Less than 2,000 miles on it, but has been exposed since trans was removed from vehicle. Trans removed from vehicle and seals replaced. Never reinstalled. Rear end original and a spare. All rear suspension removed and bushings replaced. Never reinstalled. Exhaust is original except for a stock replacement muffler. Also removed and never reinstalled. Wheels are the four wide spoke sport model. There are four. They are discolored. Tires are 225/60/14. There are four. They are old, but have been indoors since purchase. They are NOT weather cracked and hold air well. They have less than 1,000 miles on them. All in all a pretty solid, complete project car. Bring a truck, trailer and a buddy to load the stuff. I will help, but the rear of the vehicle will have to be lifted up to load onto a trailer. I don't think only two people can do this. If you have less than 5 positive feedbacks, do not bid without contacting me first or your bid will be removed! If you win the auction be prepared to come get the vehicle and all parts within 10 days of auction end. Virginia title signed and in hand . Cash upon pickup is fine. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!
