Broken timing chain – cannot be started but is available for viewing and inspection. This is our personal vehicle, not being sold by a dealer. Unfortunately the timing chain broke right after we put $4200 into the transmission repair and we cannot afford to fix it. Fix it up for yourself or flip it for a profit. No rust, great condition inside and out. Garage kept Florida car, no issues with the clearcoat or fading paint. Cold A/C and the heated seats work. Every power window is in good working order. Includes Owner’s Manual and the code for the factory stereo. After the timing chain diagnosis, we did not have the mechanic put everything back on the motor (see pics) so the brand new oil pan and other assembly parts are in the trunk. Clear title in hand. WORK RECORD: 12/2009 – Coolant and brake fluids flushed and filled 02/2010 – Solar Gard professionally installed custom window tint with lifetime warranty 04/2010 – Replaced coolant temperature sensor 09/2010 – New 65 month battery, synthetic oil change and filter at 147,430 miles 10/2010 – Replaced mass air flow meter 11/2010 – Transmission rebuilt with 12 month/12,000 mile warranty at 148,428 miles 12/2010 – Front bumper cover, fender liner and fog lamps replaced (minor accident – hit an animal) 12/2010 – Oil pump replaced, new oil pan gasket (oil pan is unassembled due to timing chain diagnosis) Winning bidder will be responsible for arranging towing of the Audi.
