I have for sale a 1973 Opel GT project car with a good running 1.9L engine.It has 73.673 miles on it.I bought this as a project car and just don't have the time or ambition to do the body work needed.I have a clear title for the car.Ths car has a ton of new parts on it.It has a new battery,It has new front brake rotors and pads and rebuilt brake calipers.It has new rear brake shoes, brake drums, wheel cylinders and a new brake spring hardware kit.It has had all the rubber brake lines replaced.It has a brand new master cylinder and brake booster. It is the updated version with better stopping ability.It also has been converted to electronic ignition. (new ignition module in distributor)I also have 4 brand new shock absorbers that go with it that have not been installed.I also have a new stainless steel battery tray that has not been installed yet.The rims were sandblasted and primed and repainted.I have all 4 center caps and beauty rings for the rims.It also has 4 brand new tires with maybe 2 miles on them.It is driveable the way it sits right now, except for not having the lights installed and no driver side floorI have started the rewiring of the headlights, the old wiring was dry rotted badly.The passenger side floor board has been replaced and the drivers side still needs to be done, I have the floor pan for the drivers side.As you can see in the pictures it has rust issues.I have all the lights, bumpers, seats, all the parts needed to put it back together. It was all together when I got it.One picture shows what it looked like when I got it, the others show how it sits right now.I have over $1000 in new parts invested in this car. 90% of the mechanical work is done.Please see pictures and email any questions and good luck bidding. On Aug-16-11 at 04:43:47 PDT, seller added the following information: The last two pictures show the condition of the car when I got it, the chrome on the bumpers is in great shape, all the glass is good, the windows operate correctly, I will be adding more pictures today.On Aug-16-11 at 17:35:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added pictures of all the glass, the front bumper and the door panels and inside bottom of the doors, the doors do not have any holes through them. the black in the pictures is POR15. The car does have bondo in it already from a previous fix up, it was well done but needs to be redone.I forgot to add in the description the car does have factory air, and rear window defroster.the rear bumpers are in a box with the rest of the parts and are in as good of shape as the front.If there is anything you would like to see pictures of, please send me a message. thanks..
