Vehicle Detail

For auction on ebay is a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S Fastback. It has the original numbers matching 383 engine and 4 speed transmission. It also has the original fender tag, build sheet and Certicard. There were only 1,036 total 4 speed Barracudas produced in 1967. I cannot find a breakdown between fastbacks and the notchback Barracuda. The fastback 383/4speed numbers are lower than the 1,036 if you can find the breakdown between the two. The engine still retains the original carb, exhaust manifolds, air cleaner and radiator. If you are looking for a 67 Barracuda this is the top of the line. The car was bought off of the original owner last year and now has 107k original miles. The car still runs and drives great. The paint was recently done 9 months ago along with new interior. This is a solid original Barracuda that is a fun car to get out and drive. The car is still DD1 Blue metallic which is the original color of the car. The interior has had new seat covers, carpet kit, dash cap, headliner, and trunk mat. Factory 4 speed console is also in nice shape along with the door panels. The gauges all work but the factory tach works sporatically. Some discoloration on the gauge bezel which is typical for these cars. Inside the trunk is the original redline spare tire and original jack assembly. The engine is very strong and does not smoke or leak any fluids. It is very clean and original with only the 383 pie tin replaced. The 4 speed has a newer clutch and shifts with no issues. The rear end is the original 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 suregrip which works perfectly. Has the original steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps. The car has factory disc brakes and torque boxes. The car stops well and the suspension is in good overall condition. Grille and taillights are in good original condition as are the bumpers. All the glass is in good shape. Has correct fender emblems that say 383 4bbl and an S emblem for formula S. The car has a nice set of wheel lip mouldings. The car is a factory undercoat car and all the pans are in great shape. The car doesnt have any rust. It is a CA car and was bought in CA per the Certicard and has never left. Overall as you can see this is a very rare car that still retains alot of its documents and is in great condition. The car can be driven and enjoyed as is and doesnt need much. The heater core has small leak and will need replaced. AM radio will need speakers hooked up to work. This is rare opportunity to own a very rare big block 4 speed A body. The car will sell to the highest bid, which means there will be NO reserve on this auction. Highest bid wins it. Look around and you will be hard pressed to find another this original with everything still intact. I will start the auction cheap and it will be on auction for 7 days. Please read entire auction. Please make sure you have all funds available prior to bidding on my auction. All approvals and inspections MUST be done prior to auctions end! Buyer to pay non refundable deposit of $800 within 48 hours of auctions end. Balance to be paid within 5 business days of end of auction. No exceptions! Paypal is ok for deposit but balance must be paid by bank wire transfer, bank cashiers check (will hold check before releasing car), or cash in person. I will help load the car and help obtain shipping quotes for those who need it. Otherwise shipping is completely the responsibility of the buyer. I am in no way responsible for damage that may occur in transport so make sure you use a reliable company. Car is sold with Clean California title in the owners name. The car is sold as is, where is , without any warranties. This is a 44 year old classic car and is in no way a perfect car. This is a nice example of a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda. This is an honest description of the car as told by the owner of the vehicle. I have verified alot of the information myself but I am not a professional Inspection service. I am selling this car for a friend here on ebay and am In no way responsible for any discrepancies with the car. Owner of the car and buyer will be responsible for transaction of the car. I , in no way will be responsible for any disputes should they arise once the car is sold. Please make sure you have all inspections done PRIOR to auctions end. This is non negotiable to be fair to all bidders. Once the car sells on auction , you are the new owner. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason. The car is also for sale locally. If you have any questions please email for a quick response. I will give an honest description of the car as I see it. This is truely a neat car but I want this to be a painless deal and both parties happy with the sell of the car. Thank you and goodluck!
