Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful C5 Roadster. You will not find many C4 Corvettes that look this great! It runs great and has no major mechanical problems. The salvage title is only due to the car being stolen back when it was new. It has not ever been wrecked!!! The wheels are Boyd Coddington and cost a fortune. (if you don't know that name look up American Hot Rod. That is Boyd). The car has a professionally installed body kit that really sets it off. Rear facia has been upgraded. (notice the square lights) It has been lowered about 2 inches. The L98 engine appears to be stock. The previous owner said he put different injectors in it but it doesn't look that way to me. It runs real strong and passes California Smog with no problem. Registration is current. If you are going to register the car in California and the bid goes over $8000 I will get you a new smog certificate. It has a KN air filter. The pop up headlights work perfect. I bought this car a few years ago and have really enjoyed it. This car turns heads Here is a list of things I would repair if I had the time, that's why I'm selling this car at such a low price. Don't let these minor repairs keep you from bidding.-- Nothing here keeps it from being drive-able. The top doesn't leak at all but has a few small wear spots and the rear window is orange. The weatherstrip on the bottom of the windows is cracked. The turn signal switch works but the hi/lo beam action is broken. The carpet is worn but floormats would work great in it. The HVAC is not working. The display should show the temperature but just shows --- --- --. The AC worked fine before this glitch so I believe it is still charged but I have no way to test it. Tires have some tread left on them but are going to need to be replaced before too long. I had the pan gasket replaced but it still has a leak. I suspect it is the rear seal. (the pictures show water on the ground not the leak) The baffles in the exhaust tips have seen better days. This really is a beautiful car and you can get it at a steal. This car is drive-able and you could drive it where-ever. This is a great car. Good luck. I hope it goes to a good home.
