For sale is one great looking 1948 Chevrolet pickup truck. This solid classic is a blast to drive with modern upgrades. It is powered by a small block Chevy v8 with a 2 barrel carburetor and a turbo 350 transmission with a genie floor shifter. It has nice custom rims with raised white letter radial tires. The truck has stock suspension with power steering added, and also has power brakes installed. The paint is great and really has a high gloss appearance. The truck is super solid and dent free which is rare for old trucks that got kicked around working. The Sun Visor and fender skirts give the truck the “old school” look. The chrome grill is absolutely flawless and certainly highlights the dark blue metallic paint. On the back of the cab is a painted mural of the ship that the restorer served on in the navy. The seats are blue velour power bucket seats, although I haven’t hooked up the power for the seats. Do to health and finances I must downsize my collection so she has to go. The floor of the truck bed is shiny aluminum diamond plate. The front aluminum bumper looks great and so does the back roll panel with four ‘39 ford taillights. I’ve got more than enough cars and this is my only truck, I really hate to see it go but something has to give. The driver side door window has one straight crack down the length of it. This is flat glass and an easy fix but it didn’t bother me enough to bother with it. The only rust problem on the entire truck is the driver side rear fender has a couple of bubbles down low near the running board. It is an easy repair if it bothers you. I don’t think the winner of this beauty will be disappointed. I reserve the right to stop the auction at any time as this truck is for sale locally also.
