This is a TOTALLY restored frame off 1959 Chevrolet Big Window Deluxe Cab Truck I bought from 2nd owner out of Oakdale, CA......Central California 80 miles south of Sacramento. VERY dry climate. Second owner purchased truck from original owner in 1970. He is the one who changed out the front clip to the 1955 front way back in the early '70's. Truck is rust free and body parts line up perfect!! It is a deluxe cab with the BIG back glass. I am moving out of the country and can't take it with me :( I have spent over $26,000 on it and planned on keeping it till my last breath. Won "People's Choice" and "BEST in Class" last weekend at the "Show and Shine" in Boise, ID. POWERTRAIN: COMPLETE rebuilt 385 HP 350 with a REBUILT TH350 Transmission. Motor is 3932386 casting number which is a one year only motor from 1969 and was found in Corvettes and Camaros. Factory 350HP. Complete rebuilt on 5/9/2011 and has 30 miles on it. Bored .030 over. ALL new parts including crank, pistons, cam and everything else!! Got a little lope to it but nothing radical cause I did not want problems. Has Edelbrock Spread bore Aluminum intake and BRAND new Edelbrock 1406 Carb with Electric choke. New Alternator, Waterpump and Starter too. Also has some old school Finned Polished valve covers which are black between the fins...looks killer. Moroso custom wires and Moroso chrome air cleaner with Sprectre Element. Also has Brand new HP HEI Distributor. ZERO leaks!! COMPLETE rebuilt TH350 Transmission with Corvette servo, B&M Shift kit and stall converter. ALL new clutches, etc...etc on the inside. BRAND new trans cooler and lines. Custom Aluminum Drive Shaft with new U-Joints TCI Trans cross member with new mount too. BRAND new exhaust with SUPER_FLOWS...sounds killer Also sand blasted the exhaust manifolds and installed new studs...ALL NEW Under the hood from Motor the REAR AXLE!! 230 miles on the truck!! EXTERIOR: Body is rust free and lines up perfect!! BRAND new RM paint....base coat clear coat. Paint is 9.5 outta 10 ALL day. Brand new. Color is a vintage Chevrolet Florentine Yellow and Black around the glass. It is a creamy color not a blinding yellow. Interior was painted at the same time the same color. All screws on interior were painted black so they look great against the paint!! ALL new wood bed with Stainless Strips and Stainless bolts. Brand new wiring, Lamp assemblies front and rear, Bumpers and Bolts, Stainless tailgate chains, etc...etc... If you need more info please contact me anytime. It is NICE!!! Doors and cab were seam sealed prior to paint....looks great without all the welds. Brand new Chrome mirrors with the rubber gaskets. New rubber gaskets on door handles too. New Hood to cab seal. Frame -off restoration so I know I am missing many things I replaced so ask if you need to know. INTERIOR: ALL new paint. New custom headliner and retainer. ORIGINAL seat which has been reupholstered a sweet tweed. Custom carpet including under the seat and behind the gas tank up to the body line. ALL new Chrome knobs, Air vent cable assemblies, Lighter...etc.... BRAND new tinted windshield and door glass...rear was good. ALL new weatherstrips including all window channels and felt on channels and doors. Had door to cab seals ordered from Brothers but they just let me know that their supplier has went belly up so I will get some elsewhere for the new owner for sure!! Cab, doors nor the dash have ever been cut!!! NO extra holes either. New armrest and visors too!! NO radio yet so you can pick one out you like. ALL new wiring including headlight switch and dome assembly. ALL gauges work perfect!! CHASSIS: Frame has never been altered and truck was NEVER hit so everything is straight and factory. I installed a 4" drop axle in the front which came with new king pins, new steering arms and also bought new style tie rod ends and same with the drag link assembly...it is adjustable. Has BRAND new front sway bar from CPP. Handles around turns sweet with NO sway!! Rear end is a 10 bolt POSI-TRACTION with 3.23 gears all rebuilt and converted to 6 lug. Also has a CAL-TRACS custom fabricated Traction Bar set-up so there is ZERO leaf spring flex...you give it the gas and she goes!! I removed a couple springs from front and rear and also custom fabricated some 2.75" longer rear shackles to give it the stance I wanted...looks really NICE!! After 3 times of typing this stuff I know I am missing a lot so please ask if you need more info. Once again, this was a frame-off restoration I built to keep but moving out of the country and cannot take it with me. Nothing missed here...if you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL truck you can show or just drive then my loss is your gain. It's ready to go. I had multiple pics of the frame-off but memory card in my EVO took a crap but I have a few from the very beginning if you need to see them...be assured that you are looking at a sweet ride I wish I could keep.
