Audi A6 Great project car No RESERVE! This is a great car. I bought the Audi a few months. When I bought the car I was told that it needed some minor interior work and the transmission needed to be serviced and that would do it. I am not the most mechanically inclined person so I took the sellar at his word. My mistake. The audi is in good shape on the outside. The body only has a couple of small dings on the hood and a scrape on the bumper. Not a big deal. It has two brand new tires on the front. A new starter, new battery. The transmission has been serviced and filter was replaced. Oil has been changed. The A/C blows nice and cold as it should. Big deal in Florida. The inside is good but the seat cushions need to be recovered they are well worn. The seat backs, front and back are good. The carpet needs to be shampooed. The Audi drives so nice when the transmission works properly, it is so quiet and has plenty of power, makes you think you are driving something much bigger and way more expensive. Great car. The problem is that there is a thunking noise in the drive line. I thinks its the transmission but I am not sure. It is loud and the vibration is unmistable, not all the time but the last time it drove it was enough. Would definately recommend a trailer. If you are mechanically inclined this really is a worthy project. The motor seems very very good. It has a battery drain I believe from an improperly installed radio, not sure. The radio is gone but the wiring is still there. Windows and sunroof work fine. The LR door is stuck locked? This is it, I have tried to list it all. It is a great car, I truely wish I had the funds to repair, call Audi to see what I am talking about, I am way out of my league with this one. If you have any questions, please ask BEFORE you bid.
